Definetly one of the best anime of the season. The animation quality was top notch. However not the best anime of the year. Mob's end game (besides the whole well animated fight sequence) was thin and the plot was kinda unoriginal. I mean the first season was about a guy having trouble being OP and wants to control that freakish powers. This season was what about? Fighting a generic bad guy and his minions. Thats all

Or, maybe it’s the unique characters present that imbue the show with relatability and separate it from the rest? This season of Mob Psycho 100 has me thinking otherwise. Mob Psycho takes themes like self-identity, comradery, uniqueness and blends them into a tale that I will not soon forget. Mob Psycho tackles the aforementioned themes in a way that most of its predecessors have failed to do. This has me believing that in order to fabricate a good story, you don’t need the most original concept but need to execute whatever you have in your hand to a T.

I never brought up canon or anything. Shipping in general is based off characters having some sort of dynamic together. Like yeah you're of course free to like what you want but exploring an established dynamic between characters with history will always be way more exciting to me than shoving two random characters together one of which is a one-off character at that.
