So far we haven't seen any strength on Jahy's part, so I can only assume that most of her abilities rest in the domain of magic and/or deception. it seems like she's missing a lot by not doing what leaders do and directly profiting off of her subordinate. Druj wouldn't really expect Jahy to compete with her for gems because it's something that she, the subordinate is already doing; competing with Druj just brings Jahy down to her level.

I think her skills mostly lie in being smug and hot and stepping on people

To be honest, before this chapter, I always had a tinge of doubt in my mind on whether she was just fucking with Jahy and laughing behind her back, the doubts were pretty high at first but had lowered considerably by now, but this chapter confirmed that she is raelly just a masochist who believes all the BS Jahy feeds her.
