So in actuality, any time someone logs in it's practically equal to fainting (also, fainting in VR = even deeper irl faint = coma). From googling around, some unconscious people may be able to hear and react to pain. So I think it'd be similar too and I half agree with you.

Somewhat, but Silent Magician only had a couple strips of cloth removed, whereas Northwemko is wearing armor over clothing, but still, anything's possible.
I think the set is fairly strong. Tianwei is a bold deck, good legacy support came around for decks like Reptilianne, the two spotlight legacy decks were treated very well, a new anime deck finally debuts, and the random cards like Miss Cape Barber are interesting as well as fun. There's plenty to like in the set, personally.
Well, there seems to be connection between the two worlds. If you look at Avida, there are aesthetic elements that are also present in Tierra, plus with matching level and attribute, then stats equalling 7000, it all makes sense. It's just an uninspired "apocalyptic" monster.

VRAINS is a 2-cour anime stretched over 2 years.
I'd rather have filler because it at least gives side-characters fodder villains to beef up their win ratio rather than being downright incompetent. There's barely any filler in VRAINS, but the main plot is also barebones. Mirror LINK VRAINS is basically the Friendship Cup hotels, since it's a thinly-veiled tournament arc where the entire cast only interacts by watching the ongoing duel via a screen.
The only things keeping me here are the art style, and how theatrical some of the characters can get. Lightning, Revolver, Spectre and Bohman-3 are all fun to watch.
