Also, since this translation ignores honorifics, Alicia calls her Akira-chan, and Akira uses no honorific for Alicia.

前略
>Three Water Fairies
>one is still missing
I forgot how long it is before Akira shows up, much less the third fairy.
At least we get to see a fraction of Alicia's true ara ara power. Also, just going off of this chapter, it feels like Akari's catchphrase is urusee.
Tomorrow's chapter will be 4 hours early.
After adding the two missed ones from yesterday:
Catchphrase Counter:
Ara ara: 67
Hahi: 32
Momiko: 16
Kinshi: 13
Dekkai: 7
Suwa: 2
Ara ara overload.
Thanks m8.
Thanks for the dump, OP! Is there any weapon that can defeat Alicia-san's ara aras or ufufus?
Not much I can pick out for Venice trivia. Except I love playing the "Where the heck is ARIA company?" game, as potential locations for it in the city seem to change quite frequently! What, you mean this fantasy series about a terraformed Mars isn't going to have dead-on accurate locations?
I guess since this is Akira-sama's debut chapter, I can share my thoughts on her in lieu of my usual vague trivia. I think her introduction here really does a good job of giving the audience a solid grasp on the kind of person and mentor she is. Sometimes severe, sometimes a goof, but not unreasonable. I also like how it touches on her own insecurities, which is kind of played off jokily here but will be revisited later on in some touching moments between her and Aika. And the impression we get here is a good setup to build upon as the series progresses. Jumping the gun a lot here, but I really do find the way her and Aika's mentor/student relationship develops over the series.
No real trivia for this one, but I like Akira-sama a lot! I'd like to show her all my pictures of Old Venice, including this example of a unique look behind the scenes at St. Mark's Clocktower.
Is it possible to overdose on ara ara?
>Ara ara: 67
Ara ara
Thanks for the dump.
>Akira-sama reinforcing gender-normative behavior
this has to be a translation error.
It's not.
>potential locations for it in the city seem to change quite frequently
I thought the standard opinion was that it's somewhere on the eastern part of the city facing south, probably near the Arsenale.
That does seem to be the most logical placement, yeah - though the surroundings of ARIA company don't match up to the Rive lining the southern edge of our Venice exactly (both the width of the street behind the company, and the amount of foot traffic). It could be even further east, nearer the Biennale gardens. But again, Neo Venezia isn't an exact replica of old Venice so the Riva could very well narrow down and get quieter much sooner than the one we know today!
As an alternative - the company could be situated along the northern 'shore' of the city. Some lovely views to be seen, though if that was the case then Akari would definitely have seen San Michele before the Veilèd Madame spirited her away there. Both there and in Castello are super comfy neighbourhoods.
In my view the critical thing is for the Piazzetta at St. Mark's to be visible from the building, and for that southwards-ish view of San Giorgio Maggiore.
I think neo Venezia is the tip of a peninsula instead of a true island. And there is air transport for most things. So there isn't much other sea traffic.
Thanks. How can any other catchphrase compete?
>Alicia's true ara ara power
Imagine seeing all that ara ara unleashed.
I want to OD on ara ara.
This would be the level in DDR games where everyone loses
When user said we hadn't even scratched the surface of dork faces, I thought they were kidding
There's no joking about dork faces.
