No, I'm telling you what we've seen and how that makes sense. They state in episode 10 that they fear freezing (like Tae did), that they are cold and they are shown being cold. Five of the seven keep running around in stuffy uncomfortable clothing, which they'd have no reason to do if you were right. (When the previews came out, we had people go crazy with speculations how they definitely had to fear the cold and Saki was just dumb or stuff like that. I said back then that it was probably just related to their personal sensitivity to temperatures.)
You also neglect how, in most episodes, we do see them sweat. That can only happen when their bodies get hot enough to require cooling. And that only happens when their thermal energy system still works as intended. If their whole metabolism still works as intended (including, most importantly, blood-flow). It's very simple: If we want a theory to go along with what we've seen, their bodily functions have to work and they have to generate heat - comparable to a living human being.
Meanwhile, your "theory" rests on nothing more than two of them not feeling too cold in the snow and ignores not only the five others who definitely do, but also everything else we've seen. You provide practically no evidence for your claims and then try to dismiss well supported arguments as "fanfic". That's intellectually dishonest and disingenuous.

Without Saki, you don't get any kind of character progression for Sakura. You get no one to oppose Necroducer.

Seven members is far too big and the story and pacing clearly suffered for it (as evident by some of them being completely sidelined).
