Finished the manga yesterday and holy shit there is so much shit I really didn't expect, I really hope season 3 happens instead of ending with an OVA. Also I'm so glad aliens are real and this is what they look like

The Claw parts of the manga are probably the weakest, I'm glad Bones cut them down. Still, 12 episodes feels a bit long for the remaining 3 arcs. Even if they are the best arcs in the whole series, I don't want them to drag on.

The President is comparable to the blonde kid from the first season even down to the "I'M THE PROTAGONIST" lines. I liked the growth we saw in Mob between how each one ended.

There's 4 volumes left with 3 arcs. While 4 volumes is significantly less than what the previous seasons covered, page count doesn't translate well into how long it something would take to be adapted. It's all up to the director to piece together the plot beats and make them flow nicely into one another. Personally, I feel like those final 3 arcs are a perfect fit for at least 11 episodes. If I had to make an estimate of how the hypothetical third season could look, it'd look like this:
Episode 1 - Thoughts for the Future + Yokai Hunter Debut
Episode 2 - Carried Away + The first half of Palm (ends at Mob's plans with Tome and Mezato getting blown off)
Episode 3 - The rest of Palm + The first half of Peace (ends with Reigen revealing his plan to get rid of the Divine Tree)
Episode 4 - The rest of Peace + The first half of Dimple Is (ends after Mob fights the brainwashed Teru)
Episode 5 - The rest of Dimple Is
Episode 6 - The first half of Communicating (You could end it at Tome refusing to go to the mountains with them or when Tome shows up anyways, either one works)
Episode 7 - The rest of Communicating
Episode 8 - Mob (Probably the most extreme idea on here, but flesh out Mob mustering up the courage to confess to Tsubomi into a whole episode and end it off with Mob getting hit by a truck)
Episode 9 - Mob VS Teru (ends with Tsubomi telling her friends that she's waiting for someone)
Episode 10 - Mob VS Koyama, Sakurai, the Suzukis, the Body Improvement Club, and Ritsu (ends after Mob manages to prevent himself from hurting Ritsu)

This looks really good. I need to re-read the manga because I don't exactly remember what happens in each chapter. Some of these episodes seem a little sparse content-wise. Like wouldn't episode 2 just be Mob talking with some girls, going shopping with Teru, and then getting blown off when the mind control starts to take over the city? Would that be enough to sustain an entire episode? But you've probably read it more recently and know how to outline the plot a bit better.
I also have no doubt that Bones will use omakes to pace things better. They did it twice in season 1 and once in season 2.

I feel like there are just way too many fights going on in the final arc to cram them into two episodes, especially when those specific fights are peak of everyone's character arcs. Teru has the longest fight out of anybody in that act as it's used to establish the stakes and raise questions as to what is going on. It'd kind of hurt to cram that in with the much shorter but climatic interactions with the former Claw members and Ritsu 100%.
On the topic of the Reigen manga, I don't think it has any place in Season 3. The show's called Mob Psycho 100, and the Reigen manga doesn't have much to do with Mob at all. It'd feel jarring to take a detour like that right before what I believe to be a perfect epilogue for the series. I feel like the Reigen manga could work as a movie.

This is a pretty fair point. However, you're forgetting about the interaction with Dimple that Mob has at the end of the chapter Carried Away. It might not be that big of an addition, but it is a significant plot beat in the story considering Dimple's ability to actually tell Mob the things he doesn't want to hear is the backbone of 100% Trust's impact. Also, I would argue that Mob is no stranger to slower paced episodes like the episode 2 I proposed. Episode 2 of the first season didn't have a whole lot going on, and Episodes 3, 6, and 8 of season 2 were relatively light on content too.

Just finished the Manga and im sad Sho doesn't appear much after the Claw Arc. I thought we would get cute adventures with Ritsu or the gang. Also, he never once fought Teruki. I know Sho is supposed to be super strong but we never see him fight properly
