Hi. I wanna talk about the homosexuality erotic parts of Jojo. Wanna start with im not phobic, and most are not either i belive. Im just a decent straight person who loves anime, like most i guess. What i just wanna say is... Is that im not a fan of homosexuality erotic is so pushed. Some might be. Im myself not being a fan of even so much of love or erotic between two opposite genders. Its just not my taste to watch that, and that being floated around even though im not gay, is weird and give me distaste a bit. Few times is alright (might apriciate/good), might be unique, special moment or funny, but when it constantly it makes me bit uncomfortable. This anime is about action,story developing, humor,muscle, fashion, poses, craziness and so on. All this things i jumped for.
Dont know if when it was released it came with the intention of some homo erotic or romance. The thing that made me realize it pushed homo erotic/affection was when Mista was in very bad shape and Giorno held him close to his.. The other part is ep 23, were this two peeps are enemies are together, and they keep touching each other. All this adds up from previous things too. This just might be weird, and have put people of because they think its gay or most of its about that. Witch is not true in my opinion, it might have some, but the purpose of it not romance. Its great story telling of characters, villains, stands, unique looks, action, humor, poses and bizzarness.
Dont know how so many straights are ok with it, some not, im fine with few. Just wish it didn't push homo erotic so much. Believe they overdid it.

Well, if you choose to view it as that you should also consider this: vast majority of characters that can be seen as homosexual are villains. Hell, it was almost a requirement for Jojos to be straight to, you know, further the bloodline. And even when it got weirder there are still no openly gay main characters or at least ones whom you can't reasonably doubt.
The more gay the characters are, more likely they are villains and will get beaten the shit out of them.

I think a lot of what people call "gay shit" is Jojo's attempt to reclaim a lot of stereotypically 'weak' or feminine symbolism for masculinity. Consider how despite the "gayness" of their designs to put it very bluntly, the Giorno-Mista fake sex scene is treated as shock humor by the manga. So there's certainly a divide between practicing homosexuality and the aesthetic of Jojo.
