Why did it take so long for the industry to finally realize the cashcow potential of Isekai when tsukaima no zero was a massive hit 5 years prior to the real beginning of the explosion?
You would’ve thought producers would have looked at its success and wondered how such a fucking retarded series could sell so many copies, and thought “hmm maybe there’s something to this whole teleporting to a new magical world shtick”.
It did some things right, although other more recent ones have improved some parts where that was lacking. The worst part was the author dying before finishing it himself and not having a direct reverse isekai sequel without any timeskip.

Now we won’t ever get to see Louise explore Tokyo.

This little bit in the anime wasn't enough. We never got to see Louise and Saito properly explore each other either.
Not to mention I want to see saito’s parent’s reaction to her.

That would have been great, from wondering who she was to not believing he was married to her. Then listening to the confirmation because the walls didn't block enough sound.
Michael Martinez
They probably wonder were he was this whole time and be confused why he came back home married to someone that looks like a 12 year old cosplayer.
