Late but I just watched episode 1 and that was probably one of the best page-to-screen adaptations ever for a first episode (interesting how both Kimetsu and Fruits Basket have pretty stellar first episodes so far)

My only issue was those shots of the characters from far of away but you could see they were CGed. Like why do you need CG to have him just getting up. Hopefully we never see it in like an actual shot

I felt the same, the CG bits were a little distracting, as was the music in a couple moments. But other than that it was pretty great.

This makes sense to me. Sound and Flame Dad both had their own arc already and it seems fairly likely that Muzan sent someone to go after Nezuko. Maybe Sound barely survives though if the Demon sent after them is his younger brother.

I could definitely Mist dying as well, but I'm less sure about him. Mist has had an arc, but due to his relatively young age and potential importance due to being a descendant of a Sun Breath user I could see it going either way.

Rock on the other hand hasn't had much beyond his backstory which might partially convince me that he'll live, but him being the oldest and strongest makes me believe that he will die in this potentially game changing arc. What's the best way to say "things have changed" destroy the strongest, oldest and most fundamental pillar.

Love Pillar is probably fine because Snake has a crush on her and he hasn't done much yet. Wind is also most likely fine since there needs to be more between him and Genya.

Tapioca, I'll give him a 75% chance for life. He's been around for a while and has had some development which makes him more likely for death, but he's usually promoted as more of a main character than the other Pillars which makes me think he'll live. He also is Tanjirou's senior and is trying to protect him with his life which makes me think that he'll die, but I'll still go back to that 75%.

When it comes to Demon Moon deaths Muzan and Kokushibou are definitely going to live. I kind of want Akaza to live, but I'm 50-50, he's had his backstory, but Tapioca and Tanjirou are too tired to win. He's also stronger than before without his head. Douma seems stronger than Akaza and considering how much trouble they're having with him I think he'll live. It's a good motivater for Kanao too. Nakime's death will probably end this arc so she's dead. I think Gyokko's alive, but I could see him dying or not in this arc.

Considering the buddhist influences, not following through with her demon instincts to eat humans probably played a part as well.

Wind or Snake probably. Usually the strongest ones like Rock or Mist get killed last to build more hype/despair.

But why would mist get killed when he's one of the birthmark people. Shouldn't he be special and necessary to kill Muzan or did I just misunderstand and can everyone get the mark. Because I thought only people from the same bloodline as the original swordsmen can get the mark.
