I think there's a lot more left over from NT, that's not a bad thing by any means since he's definitely got another part coming. OT22 felt like the series could've ended there if it needed to, sure there would be one or two huge threads that didn't get explored (Aleister, mainly) but if the series was cancelled Kamachi could've cut the NT set up (Ollerus picking up Fiamma, Accelerator surviving, Maybe Aleister vs. Fiamma as a whole, maybe IT in the Fiamma fight) and it would've been relatively satisfying. I'm not sure the same is true for NT22, but I guess that reflects that Kamachi isn't expecting to get cancelled.

Yeah I think NT left over more because there are more things to wrap up in the long run. If he wasn't given the privilege and Dengeki had told him "This is the last time" we probably would have gotten something very different. He did it this way knowing it would be another "season" as he called it.

I don't think the structure will change because all his novels have this kind of structure, but a lot more will be tied up if it is the last part (which I'm expecting it to be).

I'm pretty sure people clearing fields just really aren't that powerful in general. It's mentioned a couple times that it works based off of feng shui principles, it can change the flow of people in general, but on an individual person it's not very strong. It stops working on Mikoto once she gets a reason to stay. All it can do is nudge you a little, so if something dangerous is happening it probably doesn't do shit.

Has anyone felt this series hard to read? I had watched the anime a few years back. Some arcs that were good and some meh, overall it was interesting enough that I didn't stop. The science side stories are very good while the magic side not as good. The sisters arc and Accelerator (best boi) were some very engaging and unforgettable elements of the series.

So with big expectations I started with vol.14. It was dry and slow so I couldn't finish it. Then the anime came and watching it was much more bearable, the flow and pace were good. But the most important difference to me is Accelerator. I feel the anime is able show his mad charm far better than the novels. The voice acting in the anime for Accelerator is top class and the music adds to his presence very well. Something that I felt the novel didn't project as strongly.

The other issue with the novels is the writing style. It feels clunky, sentences take too many words to explain simple things. I don't know if it's because the translation isn't good. And there's always a disconnect between the narration and the actual scene. It's like the narration and dialogues have different places...

Accelerator and the gods? They likely wont stick around long, but Accelerator certainly has an assortment of interesting people flocking around him at the moment and has the potential to be shaking things up at AC a lot, so they'll probably show up at least for a bit to see what happens, even if they wander around elsewhere sooner or later.

I doubt they've really settled in though, but until we see Kamisato again, and he's come to terms with WR, they dont have much choice.
