He's a great artist, especially his color work. His people are very noodly but I don't consider that a lack of skill, though I can see why people don't like it. He's been drawing Index for a very long time and I think you can sense that from the novel illustrations, his non-Index stuff feels sort of different.

I really hope Index does something other than tirelessly follow Touma around for novels at a time at some point in the future.
