So im re-reading Naruto at the moment. First time since it finished. I have noticed that the battles/fights in Naruto seem to be cut short. Is this just shitty scans or did the anime buff things out?
Two examples that jump to mind are at the beginning during chuunin exams the fight with Temari vs Ten-Ten is cut in favor of Sakura and Ino talking then it jumps to the fights conclusion. The second is during the big fight arc of Jiraiya vs Pain, after it is reveled there is six pains it jumps to chapter of Sasuke and Itachi before going back to Jiraiya on deaths door with the summoning Pain dead before him.
