I recently finished Rainbow Live. There's too much details that I liked I don't know where to start. Every character was unique and had good backstories/relationships, the antagonists were despicable, the songs were catchy and fit the theme of each of their respective characters, the Prism Live was a nice addition, the boys actually had a significant role. Every episode was great and I wanted more. I could go on and on.

However, it made me absolutely furious that they made Rinne forgot about Naru and friends. It felt like a shoehorned attempt to end it at a sad note. It could have been one of my favorite anime of all-time but that final 30 seconds made it as if the past 51 episodes were spitted on. Am I overreacting or does anyone else feel the same? Still, it would be unfair to just disregard the other 99% of parts that I liked.

Which quirky characters and memorable moments were you ainons' fave? I liked Ito the most because of her rocker-theme but after she had that romance thing going on I had to be strong and let her go. Beru and Wakana are my other faves because of their personal and family struggles. I liked the part where Beru managed the store, wore a duck costume, and also when Wakana's mother snapped. The best guy was Kazuki for being a reliable big bro.

I didn't hate the Rinne ending in RL but I also didn't particularly like it. Though what said does make sense.

Wakana was probably my favorite since she was such an unlikable cunt early on but slowly opened up and probably had the best development on the show. I also love Naru and Otoha since they're such good girls. Though my favorite moment in the whole show was Bell's Prism Queen Cup performance, I still go back and rewatch that every now and then and its amazing.

I think you're overreacting.
Especially since they showed that Rinne still carried something out of it. The simple fact that she remembers "Happy Naru" means that even without actual memory of events she still has all her feelings and she's still connected to RL girls through it.
I don't remember saying this as the reasoning for the ending. If they wanted to extra bully Naru there, they'd go with their earlier idea where at the end Naru was supposed to become Prism Messenger and Rinne take her place in RL world.
It was a big deal for her, she was crying when she pushed Kouji and Ito together.
Not knowing what that feeling was doesn't mean she didn't really care about that. If she didn't, she wouldn't even remember that.

Rose seems like she's not all that bad, just that Lily and Hera are bad influences on her and she wants to hang with the cool kids.

A lot of bitchy rival girls like Hera have similar backgrounds, but they usually wait until their redemption to show them to the audience. Nothing, Aifure is arguably the best-written Aikatsu since OG S1 and Prichan also found its footing, it's just that Shining Star is a really good competitor. Actually they're not even competing so it's a win-win situation for us.

What's so good about Shining Stars in terms of writing isn't in the plot, the plot is simple and mostly lifted from OGkatsu
The goodness is in a scene to scene basis if that makes sense, you put these characters in any situation and hilarity will ensue, because of their personalities and the chemistry they have, in any case it's a blast to watch.

PR 3ds games are okay, landing consistent perfect jumps is decently challenging, story mode is basically your OC being a mary sue.
