kaede was the first yandere i ever saw in anime and she freaked me the fuck out. her fake cooking was terrifying. unironically one of the scariest anime i've ever seen

How can I forget? Shuffle is the one that leads me into harem genre. I just like how comfy the setting is, no political problems despite 3 races living in the same world. Well, its more like it is not being mentioned.

What the hell was with these Kaede episodes anyway? They were drastically different in mood comparing to the rest of the show. It seems like an actual competent director went into this show without knowledge that this was supposed to be generic and mediocre VN adaptation.

Just be glad that isnt the case anymore, VNs adaptations had the issue of having to advance the feelings of all the girls while either having to end it with one or open ending it, pretty sure that stuck to even harems today and it sucks

This. The adaptions are also never as good as the original works, so it's better to just go read them.
