Yeah, I wasn't sure if that's the way they are ordered but on ebookjapan it's listed as the third shonen for this week (after One Piece and Haikyu obviously) ahead of Black Clover, Soma and Dragon Ball. Hopefully it's trending to get a big boost but I guess we'll never know digital sales anyway. I just wonder if we'll see the early volumes pop back on the charts or not like happened with Neverland.

Definitely not the last arc, more like the climax of the second act. Kokushibou, Douma, Biwa girl, and Muzan all still have to be dealt with and this arc is clearly drawing to a close with Tanjirou being essentially out of comission.
Wouldn't be surprised if Inosuke runs into Douma though, since they're basically thematic opposites.

I've said it was disappointing since it happened, he was held back in the shadows for something like 100 chapters, then he finally appears and his entire backstory has to get shoehorned in only for him to immediately die. I think there's an unfortunate tendency for shonen authors to try for the big dramatic reveal that gets foreshadowed well in advance, when this can just lead to a storyline that's dragged out with little development (I blame One Piece for this). It would have worked better if Kaigaku had been a presence in the story before this, if we had seen him and knew he was the rival Zenitsu was working to surpass but was never able to. Could have even faked him dying, only to have a dramatic reveal with him as a demon. Instead there just wasn't any emotion because he's a character we have no reason to care about. I think it's frustrating just because it clearly could have been done better.
A gaiden with Himejima and him would be at the top of my wish list, there's so many interesting stories you could do with Himejima since he's the most senior of all the pillars.

about kuroko sudden end, if I remember correctly part of it was due to threatening letter the author got. and to be honest it was a good moment to end the story because they already kind of unite the generation of miracle. I think it's better to end it at it peak than draging on and getting axe.
Find someone who draws Kimetsu art on a regular basis and check their likes and people they follow. There's also that 60 minutes tag they do every friday for Kimetsu on Twitter, you could also check it, it's pretty useful for finding new artists there.

Neverland and (if I remember correctly) bleach actually got final arc announcement. the final arc announcement doesn't mean it will end soon. but when the serie is actually ending for real I think there will be announcement around 5 chapter before the ending. in my opinion series like assassination classroom or Naruto we kinda have an idea that they are in their final arc way before the announcement. or in bleach or nisekoi case I think most people see it coming due to poor ranking.

Just think about it a bit. If they don't want to announce the series is ending, they won't. If they do, why would they choose to do it not in the manga, not in the magazine, but in a 5-second, blink-and-you-miss-it TV ad in an unrelated show? What's the point of that?

I think another reason is because here we already have that idea in mind because the misunderstanding created by mistranslation from Chinese spoil and people keep spamming the message again and again to the point even some manga reader start to believe it. the tv ad to me just add more fuel to the fire which was lit by misunderstanding. when people already have fixed conclusion in mind, all they trying to do is using all evidences regardless of their context to proof that they are right and you are wrong.

The color adds softness, which is a nice contrast to her demon pupils and fangs.

You can only take on the Final Selection by being told by a pillar in the first place. So everyone that's in the Final Selection has some sort of combat experience and most likely a breath they're slightly good at. Only fringe cases are people like Genya who can't use breaths but achieves full focus in his own way, and Inosuke, who beat up actual demon slayers for info on the Final Selection, and developed his own breath.
If Tanjirou actually dies, Kimetsu will automatically achieve legendary status. Jump will never allow it to happen though. It's even less likely than non-main girl wins in harem romcom.

The manga has been popular in nipland for at least one and a half year. It was just almost unknown (for a Jump manga) in the west. I can't confirm this but one user once said Kimetsu actually had more online presence than Neverland in Japan before Neverland anime.

Kimetsu got popular a long time ago but it was very relative. It was fun as a fan to watch it get more popular with each volume but it was extremely unpopular when it started, like on the level of all the cancelled manga nobody remembers. Stuff like Jujutsu is more the norm for Jump manga, the stuff that survives is already performing well in the beginning. Kimetsu was the exception. Only Hinomaru was on its level to start and that manga is kept alive by government funding so it's not really held to the same standards.
You don't even know if it says anything interesting. It's interviews with anime staff and advertisements for the anime.

I can see this arc as a shake up that changes the status quo and potentially introduces new plot thread. What Wani said here makes me believe she's not quite done with the manga yet.
There's many reasons for them to not do it. Jojo only had to do it once and then you knew what the series format was. And none of the other Jojo protagonists died, so it didn't even do what you claim it did. Jojo used that tactic to save itself from being cancelled, it's not really the same thing. Phantom Blood is nobody's favorite part and nobody even remembers Jonathan. It was also in a much more densely packed Jump at the height of Jump's success so it was never in the running for front-facing pillars of the magazine while Kimetsu could be depending on how popular the anime is.

I expect these to both be done soon actually. All Shinobu's dialogue about "not promising to return alive" makes me think she knew from the outset that she couldn't beat Douma, so she did something to her body to kill him alongside her, knowing he would eat her.
So Kanao, who is currently facing off against Douma with no chance in hell of winning, will team up with Inosuke who hasn't shown up in a while, to kill a badly poisoned Douma.
Shinobu is the Insect Pillar after all, and lots of Insects lay their eggs inside other predators.
As forgiving as he is, Tanjirou will hold a grudge against you if you hurt his sister.
Who knows? Keigaku did appear after being only mentioned twice.

Not necessarily. Yeah they're poor and it's a rural area of Japan. But it's also well into the industrialized era and production of cloth had long since shifted to factories. Getting a few bolts of cloth with simple patterns probably would not have differed that much in cost to plain bolts of cloth.
The demon hunter's boss was already on death's door. He just wanted to put his last bit of life to good use.
Yeah I think his death was more symbolic of the story shifting than the story ending if that makes sense, we all knew he was gonna die pretty soon anyways.

Not him but I personally remember dropping it a few months in after starting it raw being 100% sure it was pointing to cancellation and having more than enough of that in the genre before the point that almost all of the now considered legendary series even shifted to what would be their then run-long tone, and then after it had an anniversary finally giving in and catching up.
The slow burn, the old theme, the less conventional art, even in just the last few dozen serials they've cancelled much more stereotypically 'jump' series for far less (and sooner)
But then I couldn't believe as a whole in that marathon how much better it was than a lot of the recent years of wsj stuff that made it that far, one of my bigger regrets over the years of things that I stopped reading weekly to cut off the all too familiar feeling of it getting cut anyway

Cloudy days are alright but as a demon they probably don't want to take the risk of the clouds just moving away so they just hide away.

Tapioca's entire behavior in the first episode really baffles me. I'm not sure if it's the author's inconsistency, the character's own moodiness/contradictions, or maybe something else like him being part of some great plan (doubtful). The way he talked to Tanjirou it was like he wanted him to fight him to take his sister back. But if she was truly a demon with no hope of getting better he should have just killed her quickly without the drama. He stabbed her once, but why not take off her head instead? He was perfectly capable of it.

It was a straight up Blizzard in the first episode/chapter, less than that would probably be a bit sketchy.
He probably didn't see Nezuko as a threat and wanted to see if Tanjirou has the capability to do what he said he would do, namely hunting down the demons and finding a cure for Nezuko.

I guess that's a decent explanation, especially since his entire family was killed and probably has nowhere to go. It still would have been mean to rile him up then kill his sister anyway. I don't think he was originally planning on actually letting her go. The other pillars wanted her dead as soon as they found about her as well.
He was obviously intending to kill Nezuko right up until he saw her protect Tanjirou, I think the angle was going to be a "if you hate me, get strong enough to beat me" type deal.

I think Tomioka was just reminded of himself in the past when he could't protect his sister and his best friend, coupled with the fact that he blamed himself for arriving too late. He was just being angry at himself.
