Bean Bandit and Gunsmith Cats are not in any way cannon to one another. Rally is a completely different person in the 2 stories.

I think the original manga was dropped and that's why he wrote Gunsmith Cats. It's a lot like what happened to Sailor V. The publisher of Sailor V went under so the creator made Sailor Moon to tell basically the same story without having to deal with copyright. That's essentially what Gunsmith Cats is; a spiritual successor to Riding Bean.

TL;DR Goldie wins everything and Rally doesn't give a fuck about anything, including the fact that one of her best friends gets turned into a Lesbian Sex-Slave.

Rally is preparing to rescue Misty until Misty contacts her, they have a little talk where Misty outright admits that Goldie is drugging the shit out of her, but she's a consenting adult and wants to live as a drugged up lesbian sex slave to a mafia boss.
Rally then lets her go (after giving her a goodbye kiss) and gives up on rescuing her friend because she consented :^).
Cue after credits scene.
