Mugino/Gunha powers seem directed towards mostly combat use. Weird thing is Gunha is the one most willing to help others especially those unrelated to him.

Author keeps fight-power hierarchy pretty set:

I'm not perfect, but I have no real attachment to one particular antagonist, I prefer to look at it from an objective point of view. From what we've seen, Coronzon hasn't really used her full offense on an MG and just took it, from what we see Aeons do matter in terms of giving you an advantage but it's not a clear power up. How would a battle go? It wouldn't certainly be so one sided. One has the advantage in some cases while the other has advantages in others. In a war of attrition, it may not end for something that is still killable.

Managing her avatar actually is important for her and she definitely didn't want it to get damaged too much. And she definitely was trying to stop all of Niang Niang's attacks during their fight. The simple fact that she let all of that damage get in is a pretty big deal by itself.

I think all level 5's are useful in their own way, barring Gunha who's only really there because there is no where else to place him.
