It was kind of expected. The last chapter was titled "The Yuragi Inn Gets Targeted", and the last two chapters have spent a bunch of time talking about how Kogarashi and Yuuna are critical deterrents to war and will inevitably be targeted for that reason; but they're far too powerful to take in a direct confrontation, so moves against them would be via an underhanded method. The surprise is the Tenko cooperating with the Yoinozaka.

The tumbnail makes it look like that bottom girl has a pair of enormous testicles.

Come to think of it, Nakai didn't always have that surname and we know her last memories were during Genroku. Made me wonder if she chose it during the Meiji period, because commoners basically didn't have any before that point (people of higher status such as nobles or samurais had them) and had to make ones during it.

The stalemate turns into war without Kogarashi. It already happened once until Kogarashi interrupted. Now there's Yuuna as an additional/backup deterrent, but her alone likely isn't enough. So it'll be interesting to see Nadare's reasoning for cooperating with the Yoinozaka against Kogarashi.

Possibly. He might also think that he can keep just Yuuna as enough of a counterbalance to maintain the stalemate, while having Kogarashi around with enough power to defeat both sides is undesirable.
