These two have semi-explanations. Josuke had to keep going fast to avoid Highway Star so even if he fixed the cell phone the pieces wouldn't have been able to catch up to him. Anytime he fixes something if it brings pieces from somewhere else the pieces move fairly slowly. And Joseph's stand was getting interference before the story started so it would probably have been the same if he tried to use it to find Kira.

Valentine however is fakedeep as all shit and spends 3/4s of the story being fat and minor, with no major or memorable moments. Then he has an abrupt personality and appearance change, gets a fight which is cool but was excruciatingly long (I read it as it came out, it went on for literal years) but all of the standout moments came from his opponents, not him personally. And then he gets his shit kicked in, has a flashback lifted directly from Pulp Fiction, makes a cookie-cutter speech about how he's totally the good guy, and then gets caught lying and dies like a bitch, with Araki shitting on him and calling him a delusional coward.

And SBR's ending is near-universally agreed to be soured by High Voltage, which featured Diego's entire character being shit on, Johnny looking retarded and weak as soon as Gyro vanished, and the only good thing to come of it being Johnny's dad reconciling with him and the conclusion of Lucy's development.

SBR's a lot better than SO but you managed to make yourself look really dumb by picking all of the things that weren't as fantastic as the rest of it. The one page where Johnny and Gyro are drinking wine in the snow after Sugar Mountain had more emotional impact than pretty much anything in SO, but it sounds like that flew over your head.

It's actually going to start on episode 27, next episode will end with My Name is Doppio 2.

Dragons Dream and Yo Yo Ma are near-universally agreed upon to be some of the worst fights in the series, as much because of the stupid stands as because of how long and drawn-out they are.

It still has plenty of good stands though, Stone Free, Foo Fighters, Whitesnake (asspully, but made for some interesting fights), Weather Report, Diver Down, Planet Waves, Underworld, C-Moon etc were all good. A big step down from GW though which has the best stands in the series.

I think I'm gonna lose it at F.F death, and Abbachio. But I can't think of anything else in the future. In the past I cry always at Joseph cutting himself to find the baby, and when Lisa Lisa puts his cigarette backwards and breaks down after trying to keep a calm demeanor. Probably the boots too

Yo Yo Ma was way better than Dragon's Dream. It was a classic horror sort of thing, like Cheap Trick but with betrayal factored into it, and the horror of the tongue-melting parasites it caused was really memorable. It was also basically a joke fight and led to some great panels like Anasui thinking Jolyne's into weird kissing.

Dragon's Dream is shit because it demanded that you take the fight seriously, and although it was supposedly F.F's fight all she accomplished was getting fucked up a bunch of times until Anasui came in at the last second to finish it off.

I've waited for 5 years now just to see this moment. Jojo is not on my top 10 anime or anything but I've never had this much expectation from an anime as i have for King Crimson vs Metallica.

I actually didn't think Part 5 was that good when i first read years ago, hell i even put it on hold after Notorious B.I G., i wasn't that interested and oh boy when i actually got to read King Crimson vs Metallica it blew my mind, anime noobs don't know what's in store for them. I've read all of Jojo and i can say for sure that's easily the best fight in the entire series.

I will never be not mad about Araki dropping Diver Downs "impacts store energy" ability immediately.
The uses in combat are limitless and would have contributed some of the most interesting fights in the series, you could have formed an entire martial art around impact release filled with grapples and traps.

JJL is doing better in tanks than SBR so Shueisha will want to promote it more and allow more Jojo parts to be adapted.

That's a nice thought, but that doesn't mean that any anime adaption is going to (or has) done better than the one before it. The best selling one of all time is still parts 1 and 2, in spite of them combined having only 18.5% of the popularity-poll, which is lower than Part 5 alone, which is selling the fewest copies of any of the parts.
