Yeah but it's not because I didn't want to fuck the hot girls, it was because I had no idea how to go about hooking up with even the girls in my league and had nothing super special going for me. The only way it can even vaguely be plausible if there is some super legit reason for it, like some ancient story where literal royalty is involved and expectations about proper courtship and steps are matters of international politics. Not that user but I thought the mix of Masamune cyber world building with Rikudo's art and spin has been a ton of fun, though I'm taking into account the manga too. Both nice but also with surprising depth from time to time, or you can see hints of the dark underbelly of things yet it somehow never gets pulled down that way. It's a really nice series I think even if niche.

I mean, it's utterly different genre and silly to compare to YRYR too, like "do you like Deus Ex or SimCity more" but I'd pick it over a lot of other series if I had to.

Lancer is super fucking strong in FSN too, though it can be under appreciated due to his circumstances in the story. Cu is an absolute beast though, even far away from his homeland and source of his legend. That's a feature of the whole nasu heroic spirit system actually, lancer is one of the strongest classes.
