Well, I mostly disliked the look. I guess I understand why some might like it, some scenes were beautiful, but others were just too messy for me. 1. There were plenty of times when I wasnt even sure what I was looking at. (beginning, bus ride, yeah it was a labyrinth, whatever)
2. Kyoko looked weird for some reason I cant place. 3. Sometimes the animation was lazy (Homura's colored stuff covering galaxy)

It's campy but the character dynamics and drama is so strong and I love how the whole thing is structured like one giant movie (except for some minimal filler and the reset in S2). It's incredibly easy to watch while having a lot of content in my opinion.

I don't think Madoka's opinion ever changed. Pay attention to what she doesn't say. If you recall episode 12, she never said that she was happy with what was happening. Had you asked her how she felt in Rebellion if she had her memories, she would've said something like "I'm fine. This is necessary so others don't suffer." Not that she's happy, she's tolerating a bad situation for the greater good.
She did, however, put on a brave face. This much is at least stated in Madoka's character song.

Has Madoka really had that great an impact on the Anime industry as a whole? Sure, there's been a raft of darker Mahou Shoujo series following it, but can you really claim it has the same impact on the entire industry as Eva did? K-ON is a better claimant because the Moe revolution followed in its wake, and that has affected almost all Anime, including Madoka itself.

Maybe not as great an impact as something like Eva, but anime after Madoka really failed to impress me.

Mami's a literal ticking time bomb and Homura was right in not trusting her. It's actually why she lost to Mami in Rebellion, because Homura was so used to Mami being a complete mess that she underestimated how incredibly strong Mami is when she has her head on straight.

She has no choice but to "discard" them to save Madoka, because it's impossible for her to save them AND Madoka. Even in the anime timeline she still tries to save Mami and Sayaka; she tries to tell Mami about Charlotte (but Mami doesn't listen) and tries to give Sayaka a soul gem so that she doesn't fucking die (which Sayaka refuses).

She also hates herself for having to do this, and she actively believes that she isn't worthy of Madoka's love. It's not that other people don't mean anything to her, it's that Madoka means everything to her.

That's funny, even Yorknew in 2011 is on par with 99. And Yorknew can't even begin to compare with with CA, neither in anime nor manga.

While there are series I'd rate higher from the decade I wouldn't be disappointed by it being classed as AOTD.
There are plenty of worse choices that get thrown about that it'd be nice to have one I rate as at least 8/10 agreed on here.
