I thought it would look like shit, but it turned out presentable. So I'm pleased.

I mean the animation is good but it is not exceptional or anything like people mention above.

The effects were pretty good, the backgrounds were nice and properly moody, and the characters were on-model. For a shounen battle manga adaptation that's worthy of high praise.
