Barely anyone cares about the manhua. It's Chinese and it was brought over to the Jump+ app. It's only getting an anime because of China. It is not doing well in Japan since the last 2 released volumes were digital only releases.

It's pointless to just sit and wait to see if Funimation gonna sub it or not

This makes it even worse. I'm surprised they even bothered to air it on Japanese TV with Japanese voice actors if the only people who care are the ones in China.

The TV time slot has already been purchased, and putting in Japanese voices doesn't cost that much (you'll at least break even, probably, and even if you don't the Chinese streaming market is big enough). Also Jump probably would like this to try to raise the profile of the manhua in Japan.

I was right the 5 volumes were release in print. Volumes 6-8 are digital only.

however the Chinese magazine that published it went out of business
then it took a long hiatus and returned as manga on Shonen Jump app in Japanese without any Chinese version

now it back being published in China as a webcomics 4 chapters behind Japan

You can ask about subs that guy who makes Circlet Princess & Million Arthur or Nauti who did Kakegurui 2 or PAS who are doing Piano no Mori 2 which ends in 2 weeks.

This is still better than all of these isekai anime since this one is already a fantasy world from the start.

I won't be surprised if this will be one of the last attempts. Jikan no Shihaisha was another chink manga from Jump +. Anime in 2017 and it was a total flop.

I always avoid watching manhua adaptations, but going by the descriptions and character designs they always seem terribly generic (even by anime standards). It's sort of like how when I'm looking through manga to read on reader sites I can always tell what's a manhua just by the translated title because it seems too generic or perfectly fitting some kind of stereotype.

The chinks are really behind in shonen manhua territory.
