The main thing that kills my interest in most shonen series is when it devolves into powerlevel wank or the way most lose sight of their initial goal and just become "villain of the arc" stuff so the author can milk the manga as long as possible. Since there was a clear goal introduced in the first episode and I'm liking the premise I'm optimistic, though I haven't checked out the manga and I can't say for sure.

Metaphorical for techniques that require superhuman physical ability to accomplish, hence only being usable by people who have learned the proper breathing/conditioning.

Reading the beginning of the manga again a bit, the "only Muzan can make demons" was a mistranslation, right? We've seen several counter examples, after all.

Not a mistranslation, but a misconception by the characters in-universe. They haven't put a great deal of effort into studying demons, so there's a few points like that which end up getting shown to be wrong over the series.

Pretty sure this is the penultimate final ARC in that case though.

There's not enough time, they're objectively on a timer to get to Muzan before he overwhelms the demon lady restraining him. Fighting Upper Moons isn't quick, even Akaza took time and he's the embodiment of 100 atk 0 def, it took a whole night to eliminate Daki and Gyuutarou.
There simply isn't enough time to eliminate Akaza then Douma and Kokushibou then get to Muzan in this arc unless they die off page, and that would suck enormously.
On top of this, the Eye demon and Biwa lady haven't been dealt with either, and they're both Upper Moons now too.
I expect after Akaza's defeat, Tanjirou and Giyuu will arrive just in time to catch Muzan defeating the Rock and Snake Pillars before escaping. But it is very obviously not the final arc if you think about it. It's definitely decisive, which is what the blurb actually said, but it's the decisive you see in a second act, not a climax.

I doubt there'd be another major villain after Muzan, Gotouge has been too concise with her storytelling for that. I think there's a maybe on a Douma arc, a definite Kokushibou arc, and a last stand with Muzan and whatever monstrosities he manages to whip up when he's driven into a corner. I think Biwa lady will be a mid boss in the Muzan arc.

If you really wanna know, others do want to kill her initially, and it's a mystery why she can survive without eating people.

This isn't true. The battles are the weakest element in this manga. A character will spam the same shit over and over again and then finish off the opponent with an asspull technique. One arc has the MC and his sister pull out new techniques out their asses because the villain was extremely difficult to beat. The fights are a lot like classic shounen like Saint Seiya in which there are no overall rules and a character can just gain a new power or ability on the fly and it then gets a detailed explanation later.

Because she is infected she can permanantly disfigure demons, normally they regenerate after injuries from weapons (unless they are decapitated). She also gets a lot stronger and fights with lots of kicking/curb stomping, and scratching. Her brother doesn’t have to protect her every fight and they start working together with their abilities.

My only guess is they thought it was too japanese for americans, but that doesn’t make a lot of sense considering how huge Inuyasha is here. But their other oldschool series like Ooku and House of Fives Leaves are not popular at all.

As an animeonly I'm treading on dangerous territory here but I have to ask, I assumed the manga have introduced the demon that kill Tanjirou's family so the question here is that if Giyu have arrived in time could he have slay the demon or atleast saved the family?

I don't usually watch anime anymore but with the way it was hyped and how much I have always enjoyed the manga I gave it a shot. It's nice to see they really plan to go all the way with it but I think I'm going to hate this early stuff. I don't like Tanjiro's voice and the only thing I think the anime could possibly improve over the manga is pacing but that seems unlikely. Also, due to reading the current stuff while watching the old stuff be adapted I'm just really going to get annoyed how the series never delivers on a lot of the early stuff and just became more battle-focused.

Viz has never translated most of the series (not that the stuff they have done is good enough anyway). They dropped it after the first 3 chapters back in 2016 and then didn't pick it back up for 2 years and then only in their slow physical volumes. They took another 6 months to pick it up digitally and all they did was start translating from the currently-released chapter, they never filled the gap. It's required that you read the scanlations to get the whole middle part. They did worse with other manga like Act-Age or Jujutsu Kaisen where the gaps weren't even scanlated so scanlators had to rush to fill it in so people could read the Viz chapters.

Nezuko is really just a mascot, she's barely in the manga at all except whenever Tanjiro needs to be saved out of nowhere. The focus is all the other characters who meet Tanjiro, so it's way more common to see him in doujins with them.

Coincidentally stronger demons are usually gifted more of Muzan's blood to grow stronger.
