I'm kind of worried about that one since the first episode didn't have any koto playing at all.

The drama moments and the instrument playing moments in the manga are usually fairly balanced, I think they just wanted to introduce the main characters and their backstory as quickly as possible.

I liked the shield hero lns because I liked reading about the new shields and stats but the anime has pretty much glossed over the shields entirely, people only know the Wrath shield.

The animation was nicer than the trailer made me believe. The OP and ED were good enough. Fairly generic harem but the girls have good designs and Mizuki got some screen time so that was nice.

Truly, we have been spoiled with seasons packed with good shit lately so the next 12 weeks will be rough. Tis the season for backlog. Already watched Handa-kun and now im onto barakamon though it doesnt feel like a sequel to handa in the slightest, might drop since i have 0 interest in kids as main characters

Dude Handa-kun is the cheap spinoff of Barakamon, which is the actual good series. Handa-kun had a couple of funny scenes but it's got nothing on Barakamon in terms of wholesomeness and quality. And the kid is funny.

Compared to the last few seasons there isnt anything that really stands out as amazing this time, but there still are quite a few shows that seem like they will be a lot of fun to watch even if they arent top tier
