I dont quite understand the epilogue of Rebellion, where Homura sits on the empty field, Kyubey comes at her, she beats him up, longingly stares into her Soul Gem and then lets herself fall of a building, does it even mean anything?

Half of her is gone my man. All she wanted was to make her best friend happy. The process to do so though forces her to hide part of her self.
Okay, even though I think you are a bit wrong on your interpretation (I dont think she did it to make Madoka happy, she did it for herself). It still doesnt explain the epilogue, what did it mean? Does Kyubey bear resentment for her? Why is she so captivated by her new soul gem?
She's fucked up and feels incomplete with the distance between her and Madoka. The dancing around I think is because despite that, she was still successful in her mission - really, this is the first time that she actually accomplished her original wish of wanting to protect Madoka.
The falling off the cliff is, I think, another part of the omnipresent suicide imagery surrounding Homura in this movie. She has issues.
There's a few theories about what happened to QB, but recall in the scene where she's rewriting the universe, Homura says to him "someone will be needed to handle all the curses" or something like that, so the implication seems to be that he's being used as a grief dump to lessen the burden on other magical girls. He doesn't seem to be enjoying the experience.
>longingly stares into her Soul Gem and then lets herself fall of a building
Homura started as a shy weak girl with selfsteem issues, then spent between 4-10 times reliving the same month in which she saw her only friends (or whatever she considered them) dying before failing to save her waifu from dying/becoming a witch, then on the last iteration meduka became goduca and nothing bad happened, but meduka left the world and she couldn’t be with her, then, although the new meguca system is better, everyone but her has forgotten about meduka and what happened, then QB betrays her after she confided him with all this info because the damn cats wanted more energon, trapping her (or she did it herself, or maybe both) in a false world while she was on a permanent state of “almost-becoming-a-witch”, which served as a trap by the cats to bait goduka into their control, then goduka and her divine secretaries swoop in to save her, but goduka lost her memories, and they spend some time doing meguca shit...then Homura misunderstands the talk she had with an amnesiac goduka, then she discovers they’re inside a witch barrier, then she discovers she’s the witch, then QB tells her about their plans, then she indeed becomes a witch, then the megucas save her, but at this point she has already made her choice to save meduka from suffering. And for her, that means stripping meduka from her goduka being, resetting the universe so that there won’t be more megucas, the evil cats will now be the source of energon (maybe), and meduka will have a normal life. But, this means Homura still can’t be with her waifu, she occasionally gets shit from the people she “saved”, nobody remembers her , and even though she knows that this is futile and that one day meduka will regain what she took from her and will become her enemy, she doesn’t care, because she will be there to stop meduka from being suffering, whether she wants it or not.
tl;dr Homura is crazy
Thanks for the summary but that didnt answer any of my questions in the least.
Except for that Homu is crazy, but that I know already.
Also she repeated the month a lot more than 10 times, at least a hundred.
Okay, your questions.
>Homura sits on the empty field
Homuhomu sitting on a chair on the field represents her life with teh meguka. Half of the field is gone, there is a chair missing, half of the fucking moon is gone, make of that what you will.
>Kyubey comes at her, she beats him up
After all the shit QB pulled, it/they deserve a good beating. And remember what Homucifer told QB, that they would be necessary for her new world order. I guess that means that the beating had a purpose other than a mere comeuppance.
>longingly stares into her Soul Gem
Probably nothing.
>and then lets herself fall of a building
It wasn’t a building. Also, she also wants and believes she deserves to die. She’s crazy. And of course the fall won’t even kill her.
>does it mean anything
Not really.
Oh good. Finally a Madoka thread. Time to post some MagiReco.
The scene is just meant to show that Homura is still miserable. She wants to be happy now that Madoka is finally "safe", but she's lonely and feels guilty for betraying her.
>Why is she so captivated by her new soul gem?
It's a reminder of her love for Madoka. The real Madoka is creeped out by her, so her love-tainted soul gem is all she's got.
Reminder

Man, I gotta rewatch it.
This scene is symbolic for Homura leaving the past behind and moving forward. You realize after this point THAT scene happens right? Homura knows she can never go back. Things can never be like they were after what she’s about to do. Even as her and Madoka fight together seconds later and are about to destory the incubators and the illusion world she’s preparing for what she’s about to do.
Madoka
>Homura, you’re not afraid?
Homura
>no, I’m fine
>I won’t hesitate any longer
She wasn’t talking about destoying the incubators.

This ost is named (Take your Hands). Think about that.
I guess, but it doesnt really say too much new then, also the zoom on QBs eyes at the end where they seem unstable reminded me of a curse, so maybe he can now bear curses and thats why its eyes showed emotion for the first time.
I like this a lot, although I think Homura is too deep down the rabbit hole have guilt at this point.
I rewatched the fancut version + movie in one sitting yesterday and it was still an absolutely beautiful ride.
Absolutely love it when an anime stays on your mind hours on end after you watch it
She went insane.
It comes off at first glance as a happy song but it’s not. It’s a very very sad song that plays while Madoka and Homura seemingly overcome everything and win. It seems as though they’ve finally figured everything out and are about to go forward towards a happy future but this song foreshadows everything about what’s actually going on here.
Did you guys know that Kyoko Sakura is a babe? She’s a total babe!!
Remember that the cats harvested energon from emotional changes, namely hope -> despair. Imagine how much energon can be harvested from previously ineffectual unemotional beings being able to feel for the first time. Homucifer is probably using that to fend entropy off.
You sound like you’ve never watched the series.
Eh, she's okay.
Homura didn’t go back in time btw. She was jumping to alternate realities.
Bebe is the only babe
I liked the weird claymation art they did with Bebe in the series.
The InuCurry art made the series all the better.
That is true but the moment Madoka became Godoka and the universe rewrote itself all alternate realities became one before splitting apart again, until Homura did it once again
>empty field
no more obstacle or hindrance towards her goal or rather how she feel after eveything ends. empty.
>beating up kyubey
her biggest obstacle is kyubey so with it at homuras mercy she basically has eveything
>fall of a building
fallen. as in fallen angel or sort
In this series' symbolism, the moon represents Madoka (See her witch form in episode 12 for example).
The half moon represents Madoka being split in two in this new reality (Goduka and Meduka).
As for Homura's last scene and leaning towards a fall, see last part of pic related, hopefully that helps.
Regarding the traumatized space kot, as pointed out by other anons, when Homicifer rewrote reality, she said the curses would still need to be dealt with, and the kots would be helping with that. That fucker went from not experiencing the concept of emotions to having to bear the suffering magical girls previously experienced. Had it coming.
Moral of the story : don't fuck with autists who can access godlike powers.
Who here likes Mocho, the lovely new pink in MagiReco?
Mocho is the cutest new seiyu and Iroha is a really great protag.
QB is just suffering in this scene since he told her at one point his species were emotionless, so she made him feel emotion with her new god powers.
Weren't you going to post that manga?
Not exactly.
The moon specifically refers to "God," I think. One half representing the LoC and the other Madoka.
In , the half on Homura's side represents that she possesses the LoC (in her earring), but the missing half over the missing landscape represents her not possessing Madoka. She does not possess both halves of God.
Yes. Doing that now.
Spreading love and appreciation of Magia Record. Dumping Chapter 1 of the manga adaptation of Another Story from Magia Record, or at least part of it.
Another Story tells the story of what the original 5 have been up to in during the events of the Main Story in Magia Record.
Nope. The entire thing is completely literal.
Don't let anyone trick you into believing that it has any deeper meaning.
I only watched the movie for this scene.

In game she is said to really work together well with Kanoko as they both have bind effects. Not to mention Mami, like Kazusa, inspired Kanoko to name her attacks. In the finale they worked together to bind down Walpurgis so she could be raped. Rena lent a hand too. She also admires Mami and says she's as strong as Yacchan. I really like Mami. So happy she was the first 4 Star I got in game.
It baffles me that there are people who claim to be fans of Homura who think Rebellion is some kind of happy ending for everyone, when Homura herself is an apocalyptic bundle of self-hatred, shame, and terror about being abandoned after what she did.
What Homura did at the end was neat but ultimately futile. If you have enough power to put the whole universe into your pocket dimension then why not just use that power to change the laws of nature? There's still a real world out there with real problems that you need to deal with because one day the reality will seep into the cracks of your imaginary world and you will no longer be able to maintain it.
Love this KyoMami end.

Rumour Spreader is voiced by Emiryun who since voicing Kyubey has gone on to voice a harmless, well-endowed, pink First year (now second year) bassist.
Question: without spoilers, does magia record break the universe of madoka?
Now onto Chapter 7.
No. It's a separate but canon alternate univverse. Madoka can intervene but if she does she might fuck up the world.
I only watched it last week for the first time (watched the original anime before it came out and for some reason never get around to watching it) and I already want to see it again.
Want to do a full series rewatch, are the recap movies good or should I just rewatch the tv anime? Never seen them.
Kaede is so useless.
Read Thus Spoke Zarathustra, user.
You will find all the answers there.
Gotcha. That's probably a smart way to do it.
Don't listen to this user, read the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus
But not before you have finished Goethe's Faust II.
>Apple-chan
Is it cannibalism?
Whatever Madoka project happens in the future, they better not get rid of the InuCurry art. I strongly believe the show wouldn't have been nearly as effective without it
InuCurry is still around. They illustrate almost all the Monsters in the new game, from Rumours and Witches. They are also responsible for making that Nagisa backstory canon and giving us a Magical Organ Stealer. At least one of them also plays the game.
The Appearance of Renacat.

MagiReco PC Server launches tomorrow at 5pm JST.
It's a happy ending in the sense that Homura "won". The entire series is about not being able to have your cake and eat it. In other words, if you wish for something you're going to get fucked. The fact that Homura was able to beat the system, regardless of how temporary or fucked up the solution was, is enough to feel happy for her.
Homura wants Madoka to be happy, but Madoka wants to protect everybody. The former is achieved by allowing Madoka to be with everyone she loves while the latter requires Madoka becoming a concept and abandoning her loved ones. So, in Homura's rebellion was a way to achieve both conditions: imprisoning Madoka along with everybody else in a false reality, rewriting rules in this new reality to deal with entropy and whatnot, and more importantly distancing herself from Madoka so she's technically not someone Madoka should care about and therefor Madoka is with everyone she loves.
Of course the whole thing is going to backfire eventually. Homura even acknowledged it. She also states that despite Madoka might become her enemy Homura is still going to attempt the whole thing again.
TL;DR: Homura's very stubborn but at least she got her wish.
Where did you buy the manga of Gachashit? Do you import manga from my country or live in Japan? I have seen it being sailed at Melonbooks but I don't want to buy one anymore. Madoka franchise is over.
>The fact that Homura was able to beat the system, regardless of how temporary or fucked up the solution was, is enough to feel happy for her.
Horrified at the lengths she's willing to go to and how much she's suffering is the feeling you should have (and is what she herself is feeling at any rate).
1. I didn't. I got the RAWs off some user on the /vg/ thread or I read it online on 99manga.
2. The 1st Tankouban was released last month. Look up Magia Record on any online Japanese sales site.
Is the manga worth reading? Gachashit is shit even in manga.
It's an adaptation of the main story. If you don't like the main story you won't like the manga.
Thankfully I actually like the main story.
Production wise it's probably Shafts absolute peak
Actually, I don't know the main story. I never play the game due to Gacha.
>Madoka is happy with Homura
>Walmart night happens and they’re parted away
>Madoka protects Homura
>becomes a god and is separated from Homura
>Homura makes Madoka happy
>becomes a devil and is separated from Madoka
Maybe Homora’s fate is to not be with Madoka. Just sayin.
By the way, you speak Japanese? At least you seem to enjoy the manga.
What's happened to you? You should want to talk to me.
Madoka is just happy period.
>burn down countless timelines and fuck over the universe to obsess over a girl who friendzoned her
Reminder that Homura is a crazy dyke
>stares into her Soul Gem
It probably represents all the pain she’s suffered to save Madoka, but as she herself said “it is proof of my feelings for Madoka, so now even pain is dear to me”. That’s why she smiles while staring at it.
Depends on what you mean by break. It does certainly damage it.
It isn't canon
That backstory for Nagisa isn't the real backstory. It was just a story for Magireco.
i can't believe homura is
dead inside
Nice spoilers asshole
I wish there was a way for homura to get a happy ending.
Did you know that Rebellion is unneeded spin-off of an already mediocre story?
Honestly, the only reason Homura is unhappy at this stage is because she won't let herself.
That would be difficult.
Homura is already irreversibly damaged. Despite giving everyone a happy ending, it's not possible to undo the fact that Madoka and the Law of Cycles are eternally tied together and the sacrifice she made to make that happen. Also the fact that Homura failed to save the 100 or so other Madokas.
She can never forgive herself.
Madoka is the other half.
Why didn’t homura just rape maduka?
Homura loves her platonically.
It is canon.
Is it still japan only?
Rebellion is kino.
>platonically
BULLSHIT
There is not a single shred of empirical evidence that Homura's love for Madoka is romantic.
But how can QB suffer when his species don't know emotions? Did Homura rewrite this part of him/his species in the process? I would've done so as well, this fucker should suffer for all eternity
If any of that shit isn't manga where CGDCT, it won't be even opened by anons.
See Just let Homu make love to her Meduka. I can't believe she constantly got blue-balled for over 12 years.
I like this image so much.
Is Homura crying because she fell down?
If I remember correctly, they can feel emotion, they just treat it as a mental illness. But the way I interpret it is that Homura’s actions were so fucked up that she made a normally emotionless species feel fear.
Nah, she's crying because Madoka's tight pussy was so warm and felt fucking good
I remember reading an old Urobutcher interview where in the original script, Homura's confession is clearly romantic. But eventually they decided against it because it would be too much and alienate some viewers. So they went with the platonic/ pure love route instead.
Do you happen to have it on hand?
being meguca is suffering
I’m glad. They left it up to the viewer essentially.
>But eventually they decided against it because it would be too much and alienate some viewers.
does japan really hate yuri a lot?
Literally MagiReco's current ending. Walpurgis is dead, Madoka is alive and Homu has literally everything.
Except Magireco's ending is cheap, forced, and unearned.
I don't.
Exactly. It’s not actually possible for Homura to be happy.
>Meguca Ball Super shit
How about no, faggot.
The MagiReco Anime is coming and it'll change the face of Madoka forever. Not even Kyubey can wish it away.
lol, it was many years ago. I can't remember which site I even read it from. But Urobuchi's official view is that their relationship is "lovelike" but asexual: wiki.puella-magi.net
being homura is suffering
Japanese males who watch anime are already pretty much emasculated. How much worse would that be if even imaginary girls prefer other females over them?
>Homura has literally everything
And she still hasn't tapped that meguca's ass.
user, they dont have a problem with puting a trap in an idol anime.
Homura won't be 100% happy with anything but the absolute ideal, which is impossible. Homura is at the point that she'll always deny herself happiness anyways unless she gets over her self-loathing. The only ending I can possibly see her being satisfied with is one where she is not the devil, Madoka is not God and can't become/doesn't want to become God again, the LoC (or something better?) functions, and the rest of the girls are alive.
She's still Moemura and is waiting for Madoka to take charge
She's crying because Madoka raped her.
Watch the fancut
The one from fancutfags on nyaa?
is she eating her out?
I dont know niggy, I down loaded it from his thread. Its probably it. V2 is the most recent. It takes the well done parts from the recaps and splices them into the show.
That moon sure was a cool plot device
Homura mentions during her devil transformation that she "has use for" the Incubators. The closeup of Kyubey at the end implies that "use" was probably subjecting them to despair in order to produce entropy, taking the system the Incubators established and making them bear the burden, instead of humans.
>mfw it's a waning crescent moon now
What did Inucurry mean by this?
I bet it means the LoC is failing.
>Homura rules the universe and can change its very laws
>But she can't make the LoC to keep working forever.
Useless devil.
>tfw Dokes will become meguca too
>Homura can't do jackshit again
Kek
What is this from?
>Super
If you know about Ui's powers it actually makes sense.
To a extent yes but the Church of Madoka will love it.
All thanks to based Iroha. If Homu had taken control she would have blown up the city across the bay.
Also one thing I really like about MagiReco so far is that they've given more details to the layout of the city but they've done some questionable design choices.
concept movie
The backstory for Nagisa is based on production notes so close to original canon. How much of it is InuCurry's unnecessary input is another question. Was Yuu always a potential canon character or did InuCurry add her in?
Who cares? She has a cheerleader, a Triad Princess, a Supermodel and a Ghost.
>Church of Madoka will love it
Church of Madoka here. I don't love it. Magireco is destroying Madoka's characterization for the sake of plot.
Oh look. It's the gachacuck shill. Don't you have a general to necrobump, you sad fuck?
And how about that Literal Divine Intervention.
Eh? Didn't you see the manga dump? I've been here a while now.
Since witches are magical girls couldn't Homura have just searched the person who becomes Waluigi night and shot the fucker?
Was Urobuchi put off by the gachashit? He was so enthusiastic about Rebellion it seemed like a continuation was all but confirmed. It doesn’t make sense. Why did he leave?
Walpurgis is not just one magical girl.
What do the witch kids symbolize?
Maybe so. He sure seems like he doesn't give a damn about it.
Walpurgis is an ancient witch. She's also an amalgamation of many different witches.
Based.
Literally the only actual information we have is that his twitter profile picture is still Kyubey
He wants to do other stuff and he'll keep doing other stuff. For all I care he can play with puppets however long he wants.
I don't think Homura has solved the energon issue. She says both megucas and meduka will become her enemy, which means they would need a reason to fight her. My idea is that she doesn't give a shit about entropy, and is only solving the wraith problem by sealing them into cats. So when she said she'd destroy the universe, she meant she would only do it inadvertently.
Is Yea Forums ready to take the snaa pill?
Also, couldn’t homura only go back to a certain time? Namely, the day she left the hospital?
>it's another rebellion thread where people argue about literal headcanon
Madocucks are the joke of Yea Forums
Mad that your favorite anime can’t sustain interest this long after its release?
Correct
Nah, mine actually gets content. It's not abandoned trash turned into gacha bait.
homura and madoka suck dicks on a regular basis yurifags should know this you cant defeat the dick
MagiReco isn't canon. Homora's still a useless virgin dyke
Even if Magireco was canon, that's a different Homura entirely. The Homura we know has never met those people.
Canon alternate universe.
This won't be true no matter how many times you say it, gacha apologist.
It's getting an official anime adaption. That says something about it and that Shaft want it to sit somewhere in the Madoka continuity.
Or Aniplex just want Madokabucks and Shaft must comply. This isn't even the Quartet's story, it's the game developer's.
That doesn't make any sense.
Disagree. I don't hate the magireco anime though, I want it to be good and I hope it doesn't ruin Madoka's good name or chance of a satisfactory Revellion sequel.
Most of the Quartet are working on it. So I'll say it again Canon Alternate Universe.
And SHAFT goes along with it and enjoys it even celebrating Valentine, Christmas and others with their new OCs because Madoka is coming back thanks to MagiReco.
No need. I promote the love of MagiReco for free because I love it.
>catched my dad watching Madoka earlier today
What the fuck are you doing Netflix
Which is paradoxical because that implies there are two separate canons.
>Kyouko's thighs
mmm yes lol
She sucks cock for food, bro.
Did you tell him Homura best girl?
wasn't meguca removed from netflix?
>the Church of Madoka will love it
Gachashit is suffering, to subject magical girls to gacha hell is a betrayal of Madoka’s wish.
Go back to /vg/, fag. They need you to defend the pebble plot device again over there.
We just exchanged eyes and he continued watching.
He was at the scene where Sayaka ranted in front of madoka at the bus station.
Maybe he is still watching, I should join him but I can't handle awkward/emotional moments in front of others

Madokami loves this world so.
Implying I can't post in both.
Ask him what’s his favorite meguca
Tell him Homura did nothing wrong
>catched
You are too young to be on Yea Forums, kid.
This is 4channel, he’s the perfect age.
What I don't understand is what happens to magical girls in Homura's universe. Do they become witches or what?
LoC works just as normal
They go to the rape dungeon
It’s not Homura’s universe, it’s still the Law of Cycles ‘ universe. The world just have a Witch’s Barrier (Devil’s Barrier) around it. Think Krimhild Gretchen. The movie shows that the currently contracted Magical Girls are living normal and happy lives. As long as they don’t fall into despair and about to turn into a Witch, the Law or Cycles is not needed.
Of course, it’s why Homura’s “reality” is also unstable as well because it’s not really “real”.
It IS the real universe, though. Homura's fuckery doesn't make it any less "real".
It literally is not. That’s why Homura herself say it’s not sustainable and why she is struggling to suppress the Madoka half of Law of Cycles breaking through the illusion.
Plus, the fact you fucking see her familiars around the city gives you a big fucking clue.
That doesn't mean it's not the real universe, though. You even said in your post it's the real universe inside of Homura's barrier.
Tell me, if Madoka or any other meguca enters a witch barrier, do they stop being that person? Does your answer here also apply to the whole universe if it were swallowed by a witch barrier? Why or why not?
Witch Barriers always have been depicted as false reality in the series, even more so in the Rebellion movie with the Magical Quintet bit.
Homura just has control over hers because she merged with Houmlilly and became the Devil.
>didn't answer the question because he knows what the implication means for his argument
>also thinks Homura merged with Houmlilly and became the Devil
user...
Homulilly didmt even exist outside the soul gemu
WItch barriers are pocket dimensions; They are not inherently false realities. Homura's witch barrier inside the isolation field is called a false reality because it tried to mimic reality. It's a copy, not the real thing.
The entire universe inside Homura's barrier is actually reality (not a false one) because it's the actual universe, not a copy. The universe just inside of a "container". If the real universe is altered, like by changing some laws, it's still the real universe. Otherwise, you'll have to accept that the LoC universe is also not real.
Kyubeys Counter Attack when
I'll just leave this here.
Enthropy is not a problem. Stop this Incubator propaganda, faggot.
Incubator is no problem in Kamihama thanks to three Smart Lolis who love their onee-chan/san/sama very, very much.
1 hour 40 minutes until Reco PC Server goes live.
They're the physical manifestations of the emotional anguish that Homura felt throughout her life.
I love the Gacha game very, very much.
Where the Gachabros at?
I thought they were manifestations of Homura's feelings towards herself. The theme of her witch is her is that she's executing herself over and over as punishment for her failures, after all.
Only partly. The dolls represent certain negative feelings Homura has in general, though many of them have something to say about Homura herself.
We're both on the same track: Homura harbors deep resentment towards herself. The familiars (Clara Dolls) are the physical form of that. Think of them as very narrow aspects of Homura's own personality.
Why people want a selfish bitch like Homura to be rewarded is beyond me. The writer is such an edgelord that Homura can imprison Madoka and even QB because selfishness, and every Homura thread praises this for some reason.

Madoka's in the same boat as Psycho-Pass. In case you didn't notice, Butcher doesn't do anime anymore. His most recent work that he actually wrote from start to finish was Godzilla, and that script was written and completed back in 2014. Outside of a FGO event, he's been all puppets all the time.
Yes, I listened to that and I wasn't expecting much but I liked it a lot and thought he'd gotten better at tuning Miku so I was excited to see what he might do next. I should check out his band.
I like his lyrics a lot especially.
LISA NO!
Always thought Ai doll would look like Meduka.
W-was I wrong, guys?
She's dissatisfied with the solution to her problem and is sad about it, but really it's just sequel bait
Is nomura the ugliest man?
Reminder.
I always thought that scene represented Homura’s memories of Madoka.
You reckon any of the IdolRecos will do gravure once they turn 18 in the next two years?
Official JAV when?
You don't need an official JAV. Just check out the actual ones.
They are Idols not JAV Idols.
It was a typo, I wanted to write 100
I want to stick my dick in crazy.
Completely different user here.
To be fair, no-one can say for certain whether Homura's new world order is a Witch Ward or a variation of it. Simply because Homura is no ordinary witch.
Her soul gem was held in a suspended state by the incubators making it untouchable by the LoC for a length of time, allowing corruption of her soul to a state that even Kyubey refers to her as something more akin to a devil. Perhaps elements of Homura's "ward" is capable of existing in reality with no limitations.
There's a 20 second segment in Rebellion where Homura is literally rewriting the universe. When Madoka did it in the original series, it was to incorporate the Law of Cycles. But Homura had already split Madoka from LoC in that infamous scene, so it could well be she was rewriting yet another law that we are currently not aware of. Because of all this ambiguity, there's a lot of room for interpretation in the sequel.
Check next time.
Me too
Wraithdoka unironically loved Homura more than the actual Madoka.
Rape is not love
Here’s the underlying issue: does Madoka really love Homura as Homura loves her?
That's impossible, Homura loves Madoka in a whole different way than normal people love.
Madoka was her only way of salvation in all the time loops she did, so every other character including herself mattered less and less to her, she has no issues hurting anyone that isn't Madoka, especially herself. That also explains how her soul gems color was irrecognizable, she says herself it's love, but it's definitely much more than that, her obsession turned her love into basically what religious people would describe as their total love for God, just that she actually met her god.
I agree. Madoka's love for friends and family is rather regular. With Homura's insanity it clearly doesn't matter whether Madoka loves her in the same way.
personal fluff is nice.
some event stories are even directed by inucurry. during second part of summer event, madoka gets possessed by a ghost of a lesbian.
>Kyubey refers to her as something more akin to a devil
Kyubey doesn't make that distinction. Kyubey has no idea what was happening. Homura, with her soul gem "corrupted" by love, calls herself a demon, since she is now neither a magical girl (hope) or a witch (despair).
>There's a 20 second segment in Rebellion where Homura is literally rewriting the universe.
I always thought this she was rewriting the Law of Cycles since Madoka was taken from it.
In the new universe, there’s no Law of Cycles because it doesn’t appear to be any megucas. She did something else.
Their feelings are definitely not mutual. It's clear Homura's feelings are far, far more intense. Homura loves her to the point of obsession and near insanity. At this point, Madoka is like an ideal to her rather than a person. Madoka loves Homura as a best friend.
user...
>there’s no Law of Cycles because it doesn’t appear to be any megucas
Except Homura mentions there's still an LoC and also wraiths, and Sayaka still has her meguca ring
It's implied. Throughout the movie there's a close up of his unmoving eyes, like that pic. Then during this scene, the close up of the eye had the shaky lightbubble, like anime uses to express certain feelings.
Who cares? KuroHomu better.
Sayaka thinks she’s so cool but she’s not. She doesn’t know what’s even going on in all of this and she tries to hadmouth Homura! I hate her!
We all do.
>KuroHomu
Literally zero appeal beyond NTR
Give her a break. Sayaka saw Homura seemingly destroy something she thought was just and good. Her reaction was a rational one.
Also I like Sayaka. Do not badmouth Madoka's BFF.
Sayaka deserves to get fucked in the ass like the slut she is
But Sayaka actually figured out what happened when no one else did, Homura herself said so.
Homura is the one with the slutty dress, and she deserves a sword of justice up her butt.
Do not lewd the magicas.
Just rewatched this after a few years, still amazed at how good it was and the value put into visual direction.
Homura was asking for it.
Urobuchi says yes, Aoi Yuuki says yes, Wraith Arc says yes, user says no.
>Urobuchi says yes
Where?
In user's headcanon.
>reading this thread
I sincerely can't believe there really fucking are people for whom anime is "2deep4". It amazes me how wildly misinterpreted and stupid some of these thoughts floating around really are.
It’s been stated multiple times in this thread. Their feelings are mutual love-like and non-sexual. Anything else is head canon, yurifaggorty, or anons trying to project thier lonely, incel existences on one of the most beloved characters in anime.
>Q: Why did you choose to portray a homosexual love?
>Urobuchi: I don't think it is that special - a really strong friendship turns into a lovelike-relationship without the sexual attraction, in their case.
>Animagic 2013 panel
Literally just platonic love.
Why does it matter if Homura canonically wants to bang Madoka or not anyways?
Baby don't hurt me?
Sayaka is actually extremely cool and she has a cape.
>mutual
It's very explicitly not mutual because their loves are not equivalent. Madoka's love is normal; Homura's love is obsessive far beyond the point of platonic. That doesn't mean it's sexual, though.
At first, I read this as
>Sayaka is actually extremely cool and she can rape.
Because this anime's fanbase has a lot of yurifags who desperately want there to be literally any yuri element.
Rebellion was Coobie's Counter Attack.
I want to see proper Witch versions of the SZS girls. And an An Akagi Witch with all the girls like Clara Dolls and Zetsubou-sensei hanging from a noose off her
Gay. I would prefer Homura loving Madoka romantically but if it's not the case I won't bitch about it.
>mutual
>when the show makes it explicit that it's not
>not even Urobuchi says it's mutual
>user is literally making shit up
Sorry, user. You assumed your headcanon to be true, but you clearly can't find anything to support it.
coobie is a dummy
>Preserving the universe
vs
>The feelings of a tiny amount of little girls
The choice is clear. QB did nothing wrong.
Don't you remember what happened the last time someone took Kyubey's words at face value?
NTR is NanaHomu or RiaHomu.
QB clearly gets off on their suffering. They’re fucking space jews.
