But then it just kept dragging on. Unlike Rumiko's comedy/slapstick series which can go on forever and be fun, melodramatic shows like Inu Yasha wear thing quite easily. Most of her best drama's are shorts or not very long.

I gave up on watching it middway, and never bothered with the manga. I'm glad it had a decent epilogue, however. Ranma never got one even though it needed it.
