This show looks so painfully generic. It's the kind of anime that you in other anime like Meruru in Oreimo, Kujibiki Unabalance in Genshiken, etc. The main difference here being is those were presented as a joke, a hilarious prank, a parody. But this time I'm not fucking laughing.
This show is real, it exists, and it's not even being ironically awful. The only thing worse than being outright terrible is milquetoast mediocrity. You can derive some schadenfreude sense of enjoyment out of the former while the latter just leaves you feeling bored and lobotomized.
I know that this is probably the worst season we've had in a long time and I shouldn't be expecting much, but this is simply unacceptable.
