The anime was basically a long version of the movies. Also the movies were consistently more "hype" in nature than the previous ones for people who didn't watch the DBS anime but did watch the old anime:

Yakuza arc will be lowest rated by animeonlies thus far easily, if you think waiting for it for 40 weeks weekly was a pain, they still have to wait for it for half a year from now and then wait as it airs weekly for 20 episodes with very little development. The arc is simply too weak to meet the expectations of this wait.
Hori should stick to making story arcs no longer than 25 chapters, he's good at making you longing for more, not giving a lot.
And BNHA movie will never make as much as Broly did, Broly is absolutely a lightning in the bottle.
