I'm kind of getting tired of anime where the merest mention of intimacy causes spontaneous nosebleeds and panic attacks, and where the main characters - seemingly regardless of age, are shy virgins.
Hentai goes completely in the opposite direction of course, but i'm not really looking for that either.
What I'd hope to find is something that treats sex and intimacy with a mature perspective. Where people have relationships and sex without it being the entire focus of the story. I want an anime by adults, about adults, doing adult things
Mnemosyne, Pictured, is about the closest i've found so far. Highly recommended. Its about a pair of immortals who protect successive generations of the same family over the course of a couple centuries. They happen to be bisexual and frequently get involved in lewd things, but it was never the point of the story. Just a relateable element which grounds things
