Ski knee she roe.

>not "skinny Shirou"

To be quite honest, your life isn't worth living if you need to consult other people on basic things that are a matter of your own taste anyway.

>Shirou
Do I look like a fukken weeb to you?

stop projecting lmao

>it looks awful compared to the manga artstyle
when is that not the case?

Yes. Also read the LN if you haven't already.

Kaiji

Watch the anime, this way you can read the manga and novels and you can hear their voices properly.

why do people feel so borud reading the manga where the LNs exist? I have asked people and their excuse is they dont like to read a lot and they do this half assed chuckle. That just tells me you are either a retard or a brainlet or both.

Watch the anime so you can listen to the god tier openings with each new episode.

Always felt that the manga was the weakest take on the series, nice art aside. It does skip a book, and change a few minor details, that largely don't affect any future events from the books, but the OST and VAs made the anime very enjoyable. LN>Anime>Manga

i was 70 chapters in when i found out it was a ln

I didn't know the LN existed.

Light Novel, is the strongest medium for Spice and Wolf, and the only one still ongoing, if you ever want to have more content for more Spice and Wolf. Anime is a good take on the series.

You got tons to go mate, it's 17 volumes, then the new continuation started and they just called it 18 and it's currently running.

agree
especially volumes 3 and 5 of the LN's that wasnt given a manga rep of it

a newer volume, 21, is coming out by the end of this year i think and you have a whole new series after that as well

you are talking about the LNs right? So the manga ending isn't the real one? 21 volumes sounds a lot

the series officially ends at volume 17, the rest after that are little side stories that are pretty fun to read user

Happy stories of Lawerence and Holo enjoying married life, makes me feel warm inside.

LNbros, I stopped reading after around Volume 7 years ago. Does Col eventually leave the group for good? I didn't dislike him as a character or anything, but I felt the series was way more comfier when it was just Lawrence and Holo.

Spice and Wolf is notable, if for nothing else, that it subverts the usual Manga > Anime > LN hierarchy.

Yeah but the manga kinda skips a few things which are also fun to read.
If you are a fast reader then you won't have issues with the novels and like that user said, having Holo and Lawrence enjoying a married life while dealing with their shop is fun and makes you feel warm inside.
Now, if you want to experience more after that just wait for the VR anime.

It's still in progress but they got facial expressions and hair improvement.

The fuck are you talking about? It's almost always original>adaptation regardless of medium, with a lot of manga adaptations being rushed lazy cashgrabs.

>you are talking about the LNs right? So the manga ending isn't the real one?
I suppose you can say it is the real ending of the story which was initially envisioned. Spice & Wolf is the story of Lawrence's and Holo's journey and it ends when the journey reaches its conclusion. It's not like it's incomplete or lacking a proper ending.

A while after that a continuation started and in addition to that there's another spinoff-sequel type of deal going on about Lawrence and Holo's daughter.

The highlights of the series are the volumes that were adapted and the original last three volumes (15, 16 and 17). For me the series never really goes back to how it was before after what happens in Volume 5, at least until we get to the last arc.

Yes

the fuck

Holo is so fucking adorable.

For a artist who only does hentai, the artist for the S&P manga is fucking amazing.

right? It reminded me of my own girlfriends and the cute hugs, expressions and everything. Really good stuff

>girlfriends
Y-yeah me too. T_T

You should watch the seiyu using a Korbo Avatar in a VR interview, she just couldn't stop fucking around and it was glorious.

He's right though

For me it's Anime > Manga > LN. But thats because I really hate reading.

>Reading the LN
It is just hard without being able to see Holo's expressions.
How do you do this LN fags?

I read the manga alongside it. I love Holo!

After watching the anime and reading the manga you kinda see the whole thing playing like a movie on your head and the best part is when nude scenes happen you don't get magical beams of light blocking the way.
