Mangafag here, this user is completely right, but I'd add start from chapter 1 as while the anime isn't that different, the small changes make a difference in understanding the story and characters.
For a more specific example I've seen some readers who jumped in from where the anime left off confused at current arc Norman being "completely different" because the anime left out his more edgy/sly panels.

Depends. I would say if anything, read from the start because that whole first arc is a whole lot better than the anime. The greater focus on the internal thought processes of each character definitely serve a show where the plot is ultimately a psychological battle of wits. It builds tension, fleshes out characters more, makes the dramatic moments hit a whole lot harder etc. That said, without spoiling anything I have a feeling this next arc will prooobably be a lot better than the manga when its animated for almost opposite reasons. The manga doesn't go downhill as much as it sort of has a bit of an identity crisis for a while before settling into itself.
You can tell SJ rushed them into wrapping up the first arc rather abruptly and they didn't have nearly as much thought put into the subsequent storyline. It just feels sort of strangely paced across the board. If you like reading then go for it- if not then I think waiting a year for the anime might be more gratifying ultimately.
