Could've been a 10/10 masterpiece if it had actual characters and the story went anywhere. The romance plot absolutely sucks and Murano or whatever is just a plot device, but the thrills and fuckery is something I haven't felt since Death Note. Such a shame. MC/Migi are such well written characters aswell.

Honestly everything about it was bad
Honestly this kind of shit being regarded as anything but garbage is the reason why society consideres the anime community as human trash, and deservedly so
I don't understand what was so bad about it. Is it because they downplayed the horror elements of the show in favour of making the mc a brooding action hero? Maybe the tired old "we humans were the real monsters all along" message? Or is it just the adaptation that's bad with it's shitty dubstep soundtrack.
That's The Promised Neverland
Yes
All they had to do was focus on Migi altering MCs body. The plot fell into general nonsense.
Manga was better
I really don't understand all the love for that girl who died in the abandoned building.
There is literally nothing wrong with Murano as a character. Only fucking weebs who lack interaction with real people and are only used to exaggerated anime characters think she lacks personality.
No matter how fucking garbage the girl is, there will always be a contrarian minority that loves her as long as she's pretty
Sawashiro voiced her. Instant love for many of us.
shut up moe SOLcucks. This is one of the best shows this decade. It's great in all aspects except for the horrendous intro
I unironically believe that it's the only amazing anime that came out since 2011.
Except that there is. She is here literally only for one reason, to determine how far gone the MC is. She's a robot with no depth whatsoever, and her repeating the "This isn't you" and "You've changed" shticks has gotten old REALLY fast.
2012: Psycho Pass/JoJo's
2013:Aku no hana/Kyousogiga/Kill la Kill
2014:Barakamon/Ping Pong the animation/Akatsuki no Yona
2015:Prison school
2016:91 days/Mob/Sangatsu no Lion
2017:Shōjo Shūmatsu Ryokō/Sakura Quest/Made in abyss
2018:Bad year( I liked ZLS but is not as good as Parasyte)
2019:Dororo/Boogiepoop/Maybe The Promised Neverland
2018:
Devilman was the most notable standout of 2018
>pp was more than 5 years ago
How dis she have no depth? She was friendly but made mistakes. She reflected on her actions ad Shinjis feelings and admitted she was wrong and apologized. Also, she didn't say any of that very often and when she did it usually made sense. If you disagree please name some instances that prove me wrong.
I remember when the story suddenly became about environmentalism.
I didn't watch more Netflix anime after B
If you refer to Ping Pong it was aired in the spring of 2014
b-but devilman came a few months before B, user-kun.
Also Netflix only licensed it, they didn't produce it
>no 80's haircuts
the manga was better
It went on about how good environmentalism is but then the main antagonist only died because he fell into a garbage dump. So pollution was bad, until it was good.
Then MC didn't want to finish him off and he made a passionate speech how he couldn't take another being's life, but then he killed him anyway. I got really mixed messages from the show's themes.
Music was pretty gud
I don't watch every show when it's aired
>he made a passionate speech how he couldn't take another being's life, but then he killed him anyway
Anons here usually dislike this scene, but I actually thought it was one of the shows few great character moments. It showed that the MC had developed a more pragmatic worldview, partly based on natural selection. Meanwhile, Migi developed an appreciation for human connection. The last couple of episodes did a good job of showcasing how the two characters influenced each other for the better. I wish the rest of the series had built this up more, but instead it devoted too much time to the MC rather blandly questioning his humanity.
