Endless is a pretty good concept, people have a strong fear of things that tend to drag on and on. Awkward social engagements, traffic, wait times, lines... anything that feels 'endless' would invoke that sense of mild annoyance/fear which would certainly build up over time. Plus it's a clever way to give a devil time-based powers.

Like outside it's enclosed space, it's just a little goblet piece of shit, but once it's trap activates it might change the rules cause it's created a world where only 6 people exist. So if 2/6ths of the entire worlds population is terrified out of it's gourd of you, then the power increase must be massive

You're either gonna need a machine gun with an insane amount of ammo, extremely high caliber (far larger than a human can use) or magic bullets ala Dante and Nero's charged shots since these guys probably regenerate or have no actual necessary organs depending on the devil

They state in that chapter that demons as a whole grew stronger just because of what Gun Devil did. People are also naturally going to be scared of guns because they're good at killing, but when there's like a crime spree and the media blows it up it gets way worse.
I think the current chapters are establishing that if someone in the immediate vicinity is pants-shittingly terrified, that in itself gives them a meaty power boost.

Others already stated the idea that maybe people like her is brought along to bait out the devil. I don't think that's necessarily the case since the devils gets stronger based on how hard people fear their concept anyways and they don't need to be around the person emitting fear to get that power boost.

Rather I think it's more a long the lines of having a throw away body that is willing to take contract with a demon for their power. Assuming that every devil hunter have a contracted devil of their own.

Most likely to cut corners and focus on the important parts. These are weekly series after all every second matters.
