Even if it's not a romance, Andrew is a troubled character. He lacks magical elements compared to other characters. Other characters are good characters because they are somewhat related to magic, even if there's no Akko around them. His presence is virtually the same as Annabel. There's only one way Andrew won't be blamed. It gives him a magical element, not Akko.
