Brown could be likened to Rangiku, redhead to Yoruichi, Blondie and brunette to Orihime. user, i don’t care if you dislike those mangaka and their works, but dragonball was completely coherent and easy to follow. interesting is subjective, but honestly there’s bad to say about the original series. worst thing you could say is that you found it boring. hxh is more jumbled up, but i have faith in togashi since he’s never really disappointed in previous arcs. if hxh does see through to its ending then i have no doubt that he will wrap up every plot-point unlike the likes of kubo.

He was just approached by WSJ to do a one-shot for the anniversary of the magazine and they said he could make either a Bleach related one-shot or something new entirely so he came up with a combination of sorts.

I feel ya. Bleach was mindless fun at a later stage but the art was shone bright, I don't know who they had at the studio trying to copy Kubo's style but he never nailed it.
