The manga outran its premise years ago. I like Saitama. I like the meta humor. I like the the ultimate superman-esque message about being better and trying harder whatever station in life you're at.
It's just there's nothing else to do with the manga that hasn't already been done. It's all same shit different day.

Superman wouldnt like how Saitama deals with enemies or just his battles in general. Sees him as a potential threat but not enough to act too quickly. If he saw this side of Saitama probably would consider him to join the league.
