In this case, she had a consented intercourse with an older man, there were no drugs, or violence involved.

I'm used to modern anime and utena was my first repetitive anime so I found it interesting, too see how they manage to recycle everything (I believe old shows always do this).

She failed to do so at first in her final confrontation with Akio when Anthy stabbed her for trying to whiteknight her and she ultimately succeeded to do by asking forgiveness to Anthy for caring more about her prince fantasies rather than trying to understand her friend's true distress.

This being legal doesn't make right. She is being taken advantage of by someone much, much, really much more experienced than her at this.

The movie is worth watching just don't expect it to be like the show and take it for what it is. The animation and design are gorgeous and it changes quite a bit to where it deserves to be taken on it's own. That said I do think the show is better.
