On a objective level, the last episode was not good simply because nothing that was brought up was resolved in a satisfactory way or at all. The 'last boss' boat cerulean just vanished, tiger beast died for no good reason, the underwater volcano was barely addressed. Who Kyururu really is was addressed in a way that left more questions than answers.

Then we had things that were clearly made as a middle finger for the fans of S1, like showing Kaban who just got her heart broken crying while S1's OP is playing.

At the end of most episodes, Kyururu would give the Friends a drawing she made of them. Roadrunner was a bitch in the episode, so Kyururu drew the other two characters and handed the drawing to Roadrunner, who looked devastated when she realized she had been left out.

This statement is almost completely wrong. For starters, the plot at the beginning is that Kaban is searching for what kind of animal she even is and what her habitat is. Its only halfway through the series that she learns she's a human and that the humans disappeared. From there she looks for clues about what happened to the humans and learns further that they fled the island after a disaster involving the volcano and ceruleans. She then has to work to restore the filter on the volcano and defeat the big dog cerulean or the disaster will befall the island again. Plot A led to point B and then into point C. Then at the end she decides she want to find where the humans went and leaves the island as a plot hook for S2.

KF2 starts with Kyururu wanting to find out who she is and find her home. She never learns who she is and never returns home, instead giving up at the end of the series with the copout of the park being her home. And then we get a confusing drawing implying she's a park guest from the past somehow. The end.

If I were to be honest, I like Shit bird's episode followed by early part of doggo's episode.

Episode 1 was okay but the crack was really dumb.
Episode 2 was really boring and feels like a filler episode.(I don't mind fillers but it's just episode 2)
Episode 3 was better although I never knew friends could be such an asshole
Episode 4 was meh, but I do like Aardwolf being alive and Serval being dumb
Episode 5 made it real clear that friends are really such assholes this season
Episode 6 totally destroyed messed up Kaban and Bossu.
