It is...

I enjoyed it when I was 11, It's nice for that age.

It's very wholesome

Attached: opwholesome.jpg (480x482, 63K)

It's has its moments that are usually drowned because it's too long and should have ended years ago.
Can't recommend.

It's a manga for man.
Even if there's literal okamas.

It's kinda gay but it's good too.

He took a bite of gum gum.

>It's kinda gay
Gay in the fujo way or what?

It has a great premise but it's being milked dry and the plot stretched so hard it's not enjoyable to read anymore.
Also character design becomes worse as the manga progresses so don't bother

Its gay and bullshit

if by gay you mean awesome then yes

Attached: 1490465309562.jpg (1696x1300, 1.16M)

Gay in like nothing fucking happens and there's a break every 3 weeks.

The manga itself becomes a clusterfuck later on if you ask me.
"here have these 5 things that happen at the same time between 3 groups of 15 different people with an 1000 word exposition essay on the same manga page"
It' became a chore to read.

Gay as in power of friendship and crying and rainbows.

Brownie please. You didn't even come to Wano.

Then yes, One Piece practically exemplifies that.
That's the appeal though. It's not a mess like in Nurutu for instance.

Just skipping to the actual good part

>power of friendship

Attached: 16-17.png (1826x1300, 751K)

>adventure story about going island to island and discovering the crazy things existing in the world
>main heroes are a crew of friends seeking the greatest treasure in the world
>the main cast is also on a classical shounen self-improvement journey at the same time
>artstyle is a blend between manga and retro american animation
>impeccable worldbuilding and continuity
>what it does it does great and competently
>probably the lowest amplitude of changes in quality in a long-running series(stable as a table)
Yeah, it's my favorite, highly recommend.

Good story and worldbuilding, but awful at pacing and character development. Post-time skip is Fourth Great Ninja War levels of shit. Would not recommend.

Was true until the timeskip.

Wano is just WCI part 2 though.

Even gayer

I like postTS
only anime got bad imho

all good shonen eventually break down into this
see: hxh, medaka box, one piece

No, it's worse

Speak for yourself, I love that stuff.
It's only really annoying when you're not interested in any of the storylines, or when one plot line is a lot more interesting that the rest and switching away from it feels terrible.
Wano and WCI strike a nice balance. Dressrosa not really.

This. There's so much that has yet to be addressed. The void century, Will of D, the confrontation against BB and Akainu, and what truly is One Piece.

Medaka Box was never good.

Nah it's chad as hell

It's pretty gay

Attached: cabbage_fanboy.jpg (361x280, 50K)

I just think that it's not very readable just by the tendency to cramp as much shit as possible on a page.
There are parts that I find hard to get through since making the pages convoluted and overly dense makes it sometimes hard to follow what the fuck is going on.
There are moments where i wondered why the stuff wasn't stretched into two chapters instead of one.

Yes. It's much worse.

I've been keeping tabs on this shitshow since 2005, its only gotten worse

Luffy will beat him next time by punching harder and you know it

wrong

gay and bad

Attached: 000006429_03_l.jpg (900x800, 128K)

Can someone post the O-Toko gif

>gay
Don't you dare say that about my waifu.

Attached: 1553785843439.png (1280x1024, 1.8M)

All anime is gay. But One Piece is one of those gay things everyone should experience once in their life

WCI was treated pretty well in the anime

This pretty much.

Gayer yet still fun!

Absolute shitshow of a series. Don't listen to the manchildren

It's generic shonen with worse art

It's a shonen with an actual plot and worldbuilding, which is why brainlet moepedos and shonentards shit on it so much. They can't handle anything beyond cute girls doing cute shit and strings of fights to appreciate the depth of the series.

>actual plot
>world building
there you go again with the generic wan piss claims
it IS a shitshow, half of the fucking crew aren't even in the story for years, more and more expendable characters keep being introduced to the story as if we don't have enough of them already, and they all get their """mini""" fights that last for months before the plot finally moves, and then luffy gets lost somewhere and we spend years before the "plot" finally moves.
Don't even get me started on the lazy dogshit excuse of an "art"
I don't blame the producers and directors for milking the manga but don't come here and pretend like it's a quality story

i haven't seen it or read it either, but yes

If you're the sort of person who describes media you don't like as "gay," I can say with some confidence that you won't enjoy One Piece.

this

This

That's only an issue when reading weekly, Dressrosa is way more enjoyable when marathoned, but it was hell reading week to week.

So you just speedread the wiki then, gotcha.

Everyone is entiteled to their wrong opinions, but you actually need a pair of balls to read one piece.

Even the faggy characters are absolute Bros.

I agree with all of this until the timeskip I think. The Time skip isn't necessarily bad but there's definitely an animation fu ckoff

>Never seen or read it, is it as gay as it looks like?
i think i have never seen a sentence that describes Yea Forums better

>half of the fucking crew aren't even in the story for years
Why is that a bad thing?
>more and more expendable characters keep being introduced to the story as if we don't have enough of them already
Most of them have a good charm to them.
>and they all get their """mini""" fights that last for months before the plot finally moves
>and then luffy gets lost somewhere and we spend years before the "plot" finally moves.
???????? Neither of these things actually happen.
You just read 2 or three things about it to explain why you dislike and you fail miserably, all you said were baseless claims. Are you just disliking everything that is published on WSJ?

I like Boku no Hero.
