Being real here how the fuck Kancolle isn't dead yet? >Every other gacha game outshines it now >Anime was a total flop >Portable game was a total flop >Kadokawa is more hated than hitler >It's own series clone is doing well
It sure went down on popularity but it still lives even artists are still active doing tons of fanarts of each girl every month why don't it just fade away?
>Every other gacha game outshines it now Because it isn't a gacha, you fucking retard. >Anime was a total flop So? Season 2 is in the works with different MC and studio. It doesn't matter if it flops or not, it prints money. >Portable game was a total flop It still made money, and the arcade makes even more money and attracts lots of customers. >Kadokawa is more hated than hitler Outside of Kemono Friends, it is irrelevant. >It's own series clone is doing well Yeah, no. AL struggles to find a home in Japan, and merchandise is almost non-existent except their CoCo curry collab, which is a total flop.

Azur Lane will never have a design this memorable.
>isn't dead yet They've simply entered their own 'reclining' phase. It also helps their their franchise has practically zero lore besides 'grudge from the past war/sinking made the boats into evil Abysses', where fan authors/artist can have more freedom with their own takes of the story.
AL does well in Japan and does more than just CoCo curry collab, LMAO. The real reason why KC aint dead yet is due to the insane amounts of merch/Doujins for it, its still popular. It will take quite awhile for AL to reach the status KC has and even then AL might not even make it but we just gotta wait and see

>it's not a gacha game, which is an appeal in and of itself >anime sold over 20k per volume >vita game sold half a million copies despite taking zero effort >kadokawa is a massive company with its fingers in every pie >all its own series clones combined can't manage a fourth of its success Why doesn't it just fade away? Just because you've been sitting in a bubble repeating "this is it, this is the year KanColle dies" for the past 5 years doesn't mean it's in any way representative of reality.
Christian Stewart
I have been seeing people saying that Kancolle is dead for 3 years straight, maybe it isn't as dead as you think
Only KFfags hate Kadokawa, and half of them don't even realize they're still watching a ton of other shit tied to the company. Never mind the fact everyone here is a pirate anyway.
Ethan Gutierrez
no it doesn't

>Being real here >how the fuck Kancolle isn't dead yet? Because the fandom out there keeps it alive by stimulating users with word of mouth, artworks from doujins, tributes, and of course the events that fan-made products show up at which keep the KanColle buzz alive.
Wyatt Martinez
Tenryuu is cute! a cute!
Ayden Reed
Sure it does But didnt that dropped like, 5 months ago and still no news?
Brayden Nguyen
Saving next news for ZuiPara.

I guess the manufactured interest became sincere somewhere along the way.
>No mainstream gaming presence beyond some cheap fanmade doujin console ports >ZUN-approved official anime will be guaranteed to kill it instead The absolute state of 2hufags...
2hu was the best japan meme, anyone could play touhou even without learn moonrunes Kancolle was a hell to play and keep up with stuff And I'm not even going to mention Fate
Kevin Turner
>he can't even kill a franchise of a drunk Japanese man who does nothing except make shitty bullet hell games
KC will only die if its official releases continue to be starved to death and its fanbase decays enough to let go of the franchise, which may take years or even over a decade. At this point I doubt even KDKW or devs actively assassinating the franchise would stop the fans from making new content, at least not right away.
