Do you realize that the way you are phrasing it only considers low-fantasy? If there are enough high-fantasy elements then you'll see a modified Clarke's 3rd law:
As the number of fantasy elements increase, the hyper-fantasy becomes indistinguishable from sci-fi. At some point the magi-tech will surpass our modern knowledge.
At that point realism hardly matters, since the differences caused by magic create too great differences, which, to be fair, authors sometimes abuse to handwave away the errors caused by writing themselves into a corner, but that's a different issue altogether.

Yeah, Mushoku Tensei seems to be one of the few stories that do any kind of world building that isn't completely surface-level, and it's done in such a way that there's real feeling of stuff going on beyond just the immediate plot.

Like his mom finally croaks and because she was constantly subjected to her retarded sons isekai translations she gained more knowledge on how to survive in a fantasy world. She then proceeds to prepare a home for her son when he finally kicks the bucket aswell. She'd be the person that starts the adventurers guild, invents mayonnaise, prepares rice and baths, all just because of her motherly affection.
