Some people have a very difficult time wrapping their heads around an anime that has no plot. The ending wasn't shit either, it's just that again, it didn't end with some grand climax with Kokonotsu picking a girl. On top of that, some people seem to have a chip on their shoulder about all the real candies featured in the anime, as if this is the first time an anime has advertised something or that it's even advertising at all and not just a trip down memory land for all the Japanese who ate this stuff when they were younger. I think it's just people picking this up for all the porn and being unreasonably disappointed that it isn't anything like the porn.
