If the author had her mind set on Aki winning, why would she include this at all? You already set Yoshino up for her redemption arc, so just give her that. You don't have to make her fall in love with Masamune as well and set up a whole chapter for a payoff that is nonexistent in the first place.
He wanted to give you hopes before letting you down. And then he made that short spin-off for extra saltiness.
The author truly hates the meido and the meidofags.

To shit on her some more my man. That's it. The whole allergy thing mixed with the MC being a misleading asshole was there to extend the manga a few more chapters. Fuck Yoshino I guess.
Evan Phillips
She wanted to distract the audience from how much of a bitch early Aki was by making the maid arguably worse and delivering a revenge of sorts. Aki never got her comeuppance. It was clear she was the author's waifu. Fucking cuck.
Adrian Rodriguez
It's a simple matter of either/or. It would've been fine if it ended with Yoshino because Masamune's whole final arc is about moving on. It would make a lot of sense if he moved on from Aki, but NOPE.
In a sense, even fucking Neko got a better closure than Yoshino. This is true suffering.
The need to milk it for more chapters and shit writing. Most of these authors are incapable of making drama without this type of hareshit shenanigans.

It's a bait and switch ending. No wonder most people hate it.

Honestly the MC stuck to his younger principles and good for him. Why do meido fags give her a free pass on being a childhood shitter? Keep in mind childhood fatty had made his first friendship in his life.

>If the author had her mind set on Aki winning, why would she include this at all? Shouldn't have done to put it simply. The author baited with setting the last arc up with a Yoshino win only to backtrack to Aki in the last chapter. Completely stupid if you ask me because until then readers had already come to terms with Aki winning in the previous arc. This really had no other purpose other than to bait readers and add more drama.

Which is surprising is that people still fall for this sort of """bait""" after a bazillon times. At this point anyone should know that winning before the last chapter calls for disaster and that if someone actually is going to win that's the main heroine in 99'99% of cases.
I guess the illusion for seeing their favorite girls winning blinds them.

>It would make a lot of sense if he moved on from Aki It would make no sense whatsoever retarded Maifattie.
The final arc has nothing to do with "moving on" it has to do with Masamune realizing that Revenge would have never brought him happiness.

>Which is surprising is that people still fall for this sort of """bait""" after a bazillon times. People know who likely winner is going to be but it doesn't stop people from having hopes/expectations that for once its not going to be the female with the "main heroine" status that wins. For example Rukia is the "main heroine" of Bleach and she ended up with Renji instead of Ichigo. >At this point anyone should know that winning before the last chapter calls for disaster Not necessarily. In Nisekoi, Chitoge won about 4 chapters before the finale. Had Yoshino confessed a lot earlier in the series than far more people would have been skceptical however she did when only 1 chapter remained. Winner girls have confessed at this stage and won. A lot of people did not expect the author to switch at such a late stage and unsurprisingly the last chapter was a rushed mess to the point he had to write after story chapters for it to have made any actual sense.
I don't care that Aki won, its how she ended up winning that I'm simply disappointed that the author would add unnecessary Yoshino drama and make Neko retarded.
Hunter Russell
The whole manga is bait & switch. Probably one of the worst romcom put on paper.
