I don't follow. It sounds like you want her to sound completely different instead of like the same character. Her renditions of Hibiki as smug, angry, vulnerable, calm, etc. sounds perfectly believable and distinct to me.
Her Meltic Doumei girl does kind of have Hibiki's exact voice, but the delivery is quite different, with a harder and more youthful edge.
Plenty of her other roles outside Pretty Series sound very different too, though you can still tell it's Saiga of course. Hibiki is more of a break from her "usual" voice like in YKA or Nekomonogatari, I'd say. I think Tsukasa in .hack//SIGN is probably the most obvious example of a role that's not like her Pretty Series ones.
Her solo artist singing is also great and while obviously still in the same mezzo soprano kinda range is very different from Hibiki's character songs.

Aikatsu had a perfect setup for het last series but they blew it, I find it funny that Shining Star completely outdid it in this regard in just slightly over one cour. Worse than the original, but worth looking into. It's biggest problems are generally agreed to be the overuse of formula, its inability to go more than 3 episodes without introducing a new egg or playset and its lack of focus on humans in general. On the rare occasions when it does give humans some focus it tends to be really good. It also lacks a consistently shit character, of which its predecessor had several.

Couldn't have put it better myself, and Hirake's worst problems are caused by the fact that most of the time she doesn't have one. They seemed to be getting into the swing of letting humans have focus towards the end of the season, and with both Fortune Teller Lady and Haruka's friends set to appear tomorrow we can only hope the producers have finally realized this. Although I do think the fact that Bandai is constantly throwing new eggs and playsets at them at breakneck speed isn't helping at all.

Guess Hirake season 1 was longer. I cold be wrong but I gather the first 13 episodes of Himitsu were made as a test-bed to see if sales of the toyline would be any good, with the Christmas episode being designed to work as a series finale if it didn't. They of course were and we got new episodes. This is at least partially evident in that we got an updated OP and 3 new characters right at the start of the second cour.
With any luck (I'll be surprised if we don't honestly) a new OP animation with some hints in to what is to come this season. We have the new ED to look forward to as well, with the CD coming out on the 24th.

Other shitposts and complaints I have after watching pripara for a while is that I REALLY don't like Dorothy and Leona. I'm watching these shows for the cute girls, not the gayest trap who's only line is "If dorothy says so" and a tomboy in highschool that is less mature than the elementary school girl. I took issue with Shion but she gets better as time goes on but the twins stay pretty much the same.
Also the side characters. I wanted to see more of Rantan or Kyupikon but they're not even side characters, they're just kind of there. Kyupikon in particular gets like ten seconds of screentime in an episode if she even appears and that's it for example.
