Lol we are secret otaku looking for adult relationship!

>lol we are secret otaku looking for adult relationship!
>is actually just a romcom about normal-fags having a hard time trying to express themselves.
>The whole entire show is just fluff shit and nothing weighty of a message.
this show was annoying and superfluous. inb4 muh slice of life comedy. At least Net-juu has a solid ending that pays off its premise.

I'm sorry you can't stand realism in your anime.

>+6 feet japanese salary man otaku gaining a girlfriend and struggling to talk at the same time
>women struggling

Attached: naggerwhat.jpg (577x359, 15K)

>realism
>lmao Im falling in love with another geek I met in high school!
if this was realistic that bitch would be starting to file in her resignation to become a stay at home mom. This relationship would never last that long once their hobby cross starting to cross with their personal family life. It's a fucking normalfag romcom exaggerated for idiots' sake who wish they have a happy paid job while playing games with mutual.

worst of all it's roastie progaganda, she went and rode the cock carousel then settled down with him once the chads were done with her and he's happy about that

I like it only for the secondary couple because they are more tropey convenience, the main couple pisses me off a lot. Especially the main girl, she's really is pretentious.

This isn't America. There are many women into otaku culture there and it's not much of a stretch that they would date a male also into anime.

Maybe it's supposed to relate to otaku in their 20s trying to balance a worklife? They aren't all unemployed. I like high school animes still, but I liked them more when I was also still a student

yes and? you are forgetting that Japan has its own rigid society. Being an Otas in Japan isn't the same as in the west, but it also mean it isn't any easier. If anything they are more isolated because of their social and family burden.

>used goods💢

I liked it. don't care

Attached: 1537014535718.png (1280x720, 1.32M)

Now Tokusatsu Gagaga now THAT'S office otaku kino!

Is normalfag supposed to be an insult? bet you have a low otaku power level and just want to self insert yourself with goofy muther fuckers. You just mad they living it and have a high power level you complete beginner.

I'm glad the manga did well.

>muh 3 bfs
Fucking slut ruined everything.

found the normando,get him!

Attached: Boogielookingatyourcommentliketrash.png (717x676, 303K)

Having a low powerlevel must be fun. They streaming on shitty sites and only watching action series with their many friends. They also know next to nothing about anime. Though a few know a few studios but no directors. Their standards are also low that they think mediocre anime is good and walk into every series with neutral expectations. They have fun with anime.💯

This show was impossible to discuss on Yea Forums due to supreme gentlemen like Another show that was impossible to discuss on Yea Forums was Love Lab due to yurifags.

I still think high school rom-coms are alright, but as a dude in his late twenties, I really do hope we’ll get to see more shows like this.

Wish fulfillment for women, what did you expect?

It's shojoshit what did you expect

34 years old here.
Honestly I found the premise of both this and the show about the girl who left her job to play MMORPGs embarrassing.
>"See these characters? They're like you!!!! Isn't it amazing?"

I dislike media designed to have you self-insert as the characters.

I feel you even though it in my demographic. The only josei series I can think of coming out this year are Sarazanmai and Chihayafuru S3 and Sarazanmai isn't a rom-com. At least Fruits Basket is coming back.

this, its reverse wish fullfilment

I actually liked it because they were cute together and for the most part relatable without being too self insertlike. I really don't think they went over the top while reading it.

so,women wish fullfillment is man nightmare fullfilled?makes sense

Attached: Absolutekek.jpg (1242x1492, 746K)

Some anons are best off sticking to series in their demographic. There are a lot of series for them.

ore monogatari is shoujo and enjoyable without having a slut protagonist, there's good and shit series in every demographic

Attached: 1509928096114.png (1280x720, 1.68M)

To be fair, Hirotaka is a massive autist. The only thing keeping him from being a stuttering autist is he's so autistic he doesnt actually care about most things so he "functions". He just has good genes.

Anons go harder on josei series like this one every time. It's not even shit either but it's to be expected.

t.roastie

I hate women

>otaku are beautiful people too!
no we are ugly

Green hair glasses and her man are the only reason to read/watch this. Helps that they're voiced by Sawashiro and Sugita.

There wasn’t anything about it when I watched it. Try thinking outside the box before jumping to conclusions.

I'd still think better of the user that is trying things outside of their comfort zone to see if they like it than the one that only sticks to reading/watching one type of thing

I liked the other couple. Hanako is top waifu.

I would think so too but some anons really shit up threads for series that aren't aimed at them. One of the reasons Yea Forums is better than other anime communities is because on average most anons watch various types of anime and not just the popular action series. Those fans would watch something like this and not gripe about it though.

I liked the main couple especially the awkward stage in the beginning stage of their relationship. The other couple is great too. I'm looking forward to the OVA.

This. Non virgin heroines are a turn off.

Attached: 1530406551448.jpg (908x926, 67K)

The OP was so good. The cute dance too.

>Those fans
sorry are you saying anons or other communities here? because if you're saying anons I strongly disagree, the manga threads when it was still pretty unknown still had anons saying "I love it but I read it for the side couple not the whore lead"

Sorry I should have said "those other fans" or or "more casual fans" to make it more clear. I know anons would react the same anime or manga. The only difference is the amount of anons shit posting about it. 3D Kanojo threads were hard too. I expect Fruits Basket threads to be better because anons won't hate on it too hard because of childhood nostalgia and Tohru is pure or whatever. Chihayafuru will be who the end game boy will be and just hype it came back. Given, which will be the next Noita show after Sarazanmai and is a BL adaption will most likely be

>having fun with anime
Anime is serious business.💔

They talk about fights all day and who could beat who in a fight. They don't know about sales and such work and beg for series with poor sales and no popularity to get more seasons. It is the life. Some anons do take taste and having to like deep series a bit to seriously sometimes.🌈

>is actually just a romcom about normal-fags having a hard time trying to express themselves.
A guy who skips lunch to play video games at work is not a normal fag

k then my point is that those anons reading the manga did so because they liked it, so they had no problems with it not being their demographic aside from the lead being a shit. telling them to stick to shonen or whatever seems pretty dismissive when they said they did enjoy it otherwise

Why let /r9k/ out of their cage?

phoneposting newfag

Some anons still force themselves outside of their box and shitpost in threads. I'm not saying they have to love the main character but its always over some some shit that doesn't matter. Some anons enjoyed it and didn't like the main character. That's fine. Some hated it for shitposting purposes even when its not objectively bad. These are the ones that should stick to what their own demographic.

It sucks because main pairing was boring af. Japanese shit taste for MC in romcoms as usual.
Koyanagi and Kabakura were the only good reason to watch this garbage anime.

Attached: 34484495_2175956995975142_2412400168574910464_n.jpg (960x469, 60K)

>over some some shit that doesn't matter
see pic
>Some hated it for shitposting purposes even when its not objectively bad. These are the ones that should stick to what their own demographic.
odds are there exists something outside their demographic they might like, for example if there were a version of this exactly the same but without the whore lead, so I still disagree

Attached: 1511149740084.jpg (720x480, 35K)

the only good thing about it is reverse trap

The problem is that it is essentially school romcom just with different background.

Even Narumi leaving work late can easily be Hirotaka waiting for her after cram school because of her poor grades or something.

The only ones utilize the setting properly are Koyanagi and Kabakura because they WERE a high school couple and now that flames of youth are over they became bitter and passive aggressive at times.

I actually interpreted it differently. It's a nice guy propaganda, I mean, what it's basically saying "just be patient, wait for your waifu and 20 years later she'll finally respond to you!". I sincerely hope there won't be any kids who'd want to play the long game following Hirotaka's example.

>whore lead
It's not important to the story at all. Girls watch tons of shonen series and don't whine the way anons do about shit that doesn't matter but it's to be expected of Yea Forums.

I love work place comedies and they did under utilize the setting as a selling point because most of their time was spent on their hobbies. I guess if you are an OL, the last thing you want to be reminded of is going back to work on a Friday. I would have like to seen more interactions with their non otaku friends though and not just a comparison between the non otaku brother.

Well, there you have inherent problem this show has in trying to please everyone.
>Show about normies
>Otakus, the main audience, wouldn't be able to relate
>Show about otakus
>Normies, the audience you want to attract, won't be interested

So you end up with eating salmon in BBQ party.

He didn't exactly win anything.
>It's not important to the story at all.
It is when the result is a completely unlikeable Femc.
>Girls don't whine about shonen
Oh now i'm laffin.

Did I say he won?

if an user has no problems with any of the shoujo/josei themes/tropes/whatever aside from the lead being a slut then I think it's wrong to tell them to stay away from the whole demo when it's a problem with this specific one

Having the main girl have ex-boyfriends wouldn't be as bad if she didn't act like a blushing high schooler that's dating someone for the first time.

Since it aired on the noita block and is in a Josei magazine, its really just for grown women otaku. I don't think they really tried to please men since you can see their reactions from the thread. The anime sales weren't that great either.

She's really only unlikeable for her voice. Other than she's not pure is the main reason anons have a problem with her and basically start taking it out on the whole series.

Always annoying they do this for every series like a person isn't defined by the amount of romantic relationships they've had and they act like the man has been single for 20 years waiting for her when that wasn't the case at all.

All I can say is if you say so.

Salesfags are probably even more idiotic than fightfags.

>and they act like the man has been single for 20 years waiting for her when that wasn't the case at all
you what now?

>user is so autistic he doesn't know how to enter society without giving up his hobbies
What a shock.

How do you explain why you can't talk about your leasure activites? People will know if you lie.

I just don't bother talking about anime with my coworkers, unless they watch anime.
>People will know if you lie.
Most people don't make deep inquiries into your spare time, in the real world. Sometimes you run into a hostile work environment, but all things considered, you can learn how to be liked by learning to be earnest, sufficiently professional, and friendly. But they will naturally be uncomfortable around you if you're also uncomfortable, have "suspicious" mannerisms, and are generally standoffish and defensive.
As long as weeb isn't something you've intentionally made apart of your visible self that actively annoys other people, it doesn't matter.

>/r9k/
worst excuse of a retort. Not an argument

This this this, the whole anime itself is playing off as an ideal dream of the average otaku. I'd say fags who love geek culture but at the same time live borderline life with a social life/face to maintain. I find that nips who watch this are young adult females who are into pop shits like mobage, generic cosplay and seasonal anime.

he's not wrong you know, there are bottom tire otaku and there are "normal fags" tier otaku. This anime strike just to the normal fags tier, which is something that the average nips can identify with easily in someway or another. Even if they dont, the romcom and drama are easy to tell enough to allow anyone to imagine to be in their shoes. For sure this anime has shit load of those type of geeky gals follow the author's manga, just check her social media, it reeks with popular anime stuffs and what normal fags anime fans are into.

otakufags on suicide watch. this show has mentally ruined many.

I am pretty sure Hirotaka is a virgin. It seems to be a thing in Nifuji family, because it was downright confirmed that Hirotaka's little bro never had a gf either and Hirotaka got THAT guy scared of being alone too much.

You forgot to post a frog

that's why she was prepared to let him smack her after this because she realized she had held him back all that time while she was slutting around. but this is roastie propaganda so instead he just kisses her and says it's no big deal she wasted so much of his life

There's so little romantic progression in the manga I'm still not sure if she likes him more than a friend or not.

>They talk about fights all day and who could beat who in a fight.
but this is the most autistic least normalfag thing though

t. narutofan OBD veteran

This.

>realistic
>average otaku girl gets a 10/10 literally flawless handsome boyfriend who just happened to wait for years specifically for her and is into the same things she is

...

>loser orbiting bitch until she's old and nobody else wants her after years of partying so she has to settle with the closest thing that resembles a male she finds
looks pretty realistic to me

Wow, you're literally me

Hardly. It's nothing compared to Kuzu no Honkai or Nana.

you did

I really just don't like used goods that think they deserve a happy married life.

Natsumi is adorable and I don't give a shit that she's "used" goods.
As should anybody who genuinely loves a woman.

you should watch the superior 3d Kanojo instead

My one gripe with the Manga is that their relationship is STILL in the same place it was at the start. It feels like most of the time they aren't in a relationship. I'm hoping in the next couple of volumes that are out in September that something of significant value happens.

t.roastie

*tips white knight helmet*

Sugita himself said that he was glad that the series wasn't about "www look at me be so otaku maji manjigatame, bazutteruing so hard right now" but instead a more traditional love comedy.

His position in the cast is pretty ironic as he is by far the biggest nerd but plays the character with the weakest powerlevel. I'm just glad Sawashiro was there with him, the two's acting had the perfect chemistry and was by far the most entertaining thing in the whole show.

Theyre literally the only couple thats interesting. Wish they had a spin off series that revolves around them

Kuzu no Honkai was fucking garbage
Im glad it ended the way it did but that teacher is fucking disgusting to end up with a nice dude. Dude's crazy to even fall in love with her so they deserve each other I guess

I lasted exactly one episode because I couldn't stand hearing about people blogging about their office/work problems.

That doesn't mean he's never been in a relationship. Childhood friend fans are the worst.
She also didn't have to return his feelings or date him just because he liked her.

I remember Naoya said was she was his first love. I can't believe they are setting up the brother with Ko.

Wasn't that OAD/OVA about the side couples supposed to be out already? I didn't find anything on nyaa.

I just think it would be popular among fujoshi and doesn't really think it caters to the average Japanese viewer that isn't that interested in any otaku hobby but they may just love a good old rom com every now and again since it's popular enough to get a live action adaption.

I think that's ironic as well. I think it's a role he enjoyed and a series he liked. I like the side couple was a highlight because of how they always went at it and cared for each other.

Attached: cat and dog.jpg (1200x1710, 415K)

This is why I hate girl oriented manga/anime, you have a beautiful, likable and super hot female character and what niponfags do? Absolutely no fucking fanart.

The show was decent, it hurts that the main couple are so unlikable, Koyanagi and Kabakura are the only reason I'm still reading the manga.
