I guess I should have seen it coming when Ban came back from purgatory and went "k elaine i gave you my immortality so you wont die now", but honestly, I felt like the enemies prior to this were fun, even though a lot of people didn't like them. They at least sold that they were challenging, whereas the demon king did absolutely nothing.

Hawk will be the main villain in the spin off.

I disagree, day Escanor and Marciel in their final battle were great. Zeldris did well, too.

Wow, I was pretty convinced the final battle would be vs the Demon King and the Goddess and in defeating them they'd get rid of the curse. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed.

There will be no Arthur manga, Nakaba clearly got tired of NnT as a whole. This isn't a guy rushing his ending because the manga was cancelled this is an author saying "You know what? Fuck it. I don't think I want to do this shit anymore"

Still, this has got to be one of the stupidest endings imaginable. Nakaba did so many mistakes.
Zeldoris should've been more conflicted when he found out the truth about Estarossa, it would've made him more 'human' and relatable. Instead we got edgelord Zeldoris. Chandler got completely wasted, when they formed The One his powers became forgotten. The One was also a huge disappointment. Cusack looked like he had some plan to make Zeldoris the demon king but again that was a plot point that got wasted. Sun Escanor should've been the one to give Mael back his grace sucking up his pride and accepting he wasn't the best man for the job. I understand Ban getting strong enough to survive Purgatory but being able to go toe to toe with the demon king makes no fucking sense. How do you go from being able to survive to competing against a Godlike being that is relaxing in Purgatory? Shit's dumb.

But my biggest gripe is hands down Mael. Mael had tons of character development, an interesting story, and looked to play a key role in the fight against Demon King Mel, it was set to be a redemption story. Mael having been on both sides could've fought for peace between both races, as a way to redeem his sins (this is a manga about sins). Instead Zeldoris was fed to him and all that development he got was thrown to the garbage as the power of friendship defeated the demon King. The fuck is this shit? Why even give him so much development when he just becomes an after thought at the end? Nakaba was so obsessed with wanking Ban and Mel that he threw away one of the strongest parts in the manga.
What a disappointment.

That flashback would have been before he was sealed. Jelamet was still alive 11 years before the series started as shown in the side story.

It says "killed" in the previous post in quotes, because her body died, but her soul probably stayed in some object till the troll queen .

but she didn't mention being killed by Esta, so its probably not her being killed.

If you read carefully before they fought, Mael did not want to fight at all. He went easy on him.
