The development and depth the Ant arc gives to all the characters involved, especially Gon, Killua, Meruem and Komugi, is simply unparalleled by anything in Yorkshin. It's way more grand story-wise and thematically. The way it explored the complex relationship and dynamics between Gon-Killua, Meruem-Komugi, Meruem and his royal guards and such were better than Yorkshin. Of course, the Ryodan had an amazing dynamic and Kurapika-Senritsu's relationship was great, but the relationships explored in the Ant arc have more complexity and depth. The Ant arc was much more creative than any arc before it as well.
