a modern anime aesthetic appreciation thread is still a bit of an april fools joke cause a lot of studios don't know what they hell they are doing, but on the flip side the modern age brought about an end to limitations that were previously annoying. things like grain, cel shadow, cels darkening and discoloring the ones underneath ... I think more and more people are figuring out again how to properly make anime, and with the combination of the new advances we could have the quality of the past combined with the quality of the present presented in the best way possible.
This is a messy reply but fuck it I'm tired and this is an april fools thread.
