I think that a different God Hand destroyed Gaiseric, and the last 1000 years has been spent assembling the new god hand. A new kingdom has risen again, and all that's left is for it to be destroyed by the godhand for it to come full circle.

Do you think Araki will introduce something the Angelic Hand? That's too ridiculous even for Berserk standards. Anyway here's my pitch for two different Berserk endings

1) Everyone subjugates to Griffith and become apostles, Guts is the last remaining human left, his old party either died or converted. It's an I Am Legend style ending where Guts is some kind of boogeyman hunting down and killing all of the converted and new inheritors of the Earth until he's eventually captured and put on trial by Griffith and killed in a public execution

2) Guts realizes fighting Griffith is pointless and eventually decides whether or not to cave in and become an apostle and accept's Griffth's dream. Open ending ambiguity whether or not he accepted the Behelit in the end.
